January Story Poll
- One Piece : Halfway Broken 51
- Harry Potter: Pandora's Box 15
- Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams 9
- A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure 23
Alright! Normally, I put the next month's poll up right after the release of the current month's patron-voted story. Which this time was A Very Confused Pokemon Adventure. This time, I...sort of spaced it for a few days. I suppose I could claim I was giving the still ongoing Halfway Broken - Relationship Poll a bit of breathing room. In reality, though, I mostly have just been juggling one too many things and it got forgotten for a few days. Thankfully, I've properly remembered now, so let's get on with it! Note that the vote boost percentages have, of course, been updated. A Very Confused Pokemon Adventure lost it's boost since it's been updated. While Eridium Dreams and Pandora's Box continue to escalate to bigger boosts.
Here are your options for January:
------------
One Piece : Halfway Broken
Note: The exact contents of this update at uncertain, as I haven't written the Christmas Bonus release yet. I'm hoping to wrap up the original island they are currently on during that bonus. Which is reflected here. It assumes they've left Wind’s Home/The Crystal City. If I don't quite manage that, then I will be finishing that island first, before moving onto the content described here.
Finished up on their second Sky Island, the Strawhat Crew has decided it's time to head back to the Blue Sea! Much to Luffy's surprise, Fate seems to have worked out improbably as they land smack in the middle of the Florian Triangle, where he almost immediately recognizes they've been caught in the phenomena generated by Gekco Moria's Thriller Bark. Annoyed, but not really upset, Luffy starts looking out for a certain skeleton-man, while plotting how to best avoid having any shadows get stolen...
Meanwhile, events elsewhere are still moving. Blackbeard gets pinned between Macro and Ace, with the World Government taking advantage of the conflict for their own ends. Garp returns from the New World and is pissed off to discover Luffy having been labeled a Pirate. And Alabasta continues to hammer the WG over labeling their kingdom's heir a pirate of all things!
Harry Potter: Pandora's Box (Current Boost +70% to votes)
Last time, Harry started a new project...but there was also a field invasion of the Quidditch match by a swarm of giant bees. The school came together to beat back the attack, but where did it come from? What was its intent? And how will everyone react to this new escalation?
Mass Effect: Eridium Dreams(Current Boost +110% to votes)
The Council has little choice but to believe that something is wrong when one of their best agents gives them a detailed report, right alongside dumping Geth refugees on them. Something which is a nightmare all on its own with the current state of Citadel law. While the politicians deal with that headache, newly minted Spectre Sae Shepard is on the hunt, with her first few missions being to work with Spectre Saren! They have a not-so-well-regarded Prothean researcher to find...
A Very Confused Pokémon Adventure
2B has both a new Pokémon and a new traveling companion! She and Zoey finally make it to Viridian, with Daisy getting introduced via video phone and realizing she probably should have reviewed 2B's travel plans after all. Even if everything seems to have worked out. The pair spend a few days in Viridian, using the Battle Courts available here to get their Pokémon some experience. For the first time, some very unfortunate souls are introduced to 2B's disregard for normality, and stocks in migraine medication become a good investment as people react. Afterward Zoey pushes quickly to head into Viridian Forest, realizing that they've attracted way more attention than she was expecting, and wanting to use the less traveled paths of the Forest to dodge that attention a bit.

Remember, this is a weighted poll! Voters get 1 vote per dollar of their patronage, and you can split your votes. If you vote for more than one story, your votes will be split evenly, even if this means a fractional result. The poll will run through the 26th, since I'm not going to do a bunch of number crunching on Christmas to end it on the 25th as I usually do ;-).
