Halfway Broken - Marineford Battle Poll! (Patreon)

Alright, ladies, gents, and others! I mentioned this poll in the comments of the latest Halfway Broken release. What this is about is the events of the Whitebeard vs Marine battle at Marineford. Specifically, whether or not you want me to actually write a perspective or two showing the battle!

Now, first let me be clear. We will get an overview of what happened during the battle either way. Vivi and Robin were keeping an eye on events, as well as actively recording the battle via either a Vision Dial or Snail Projector (one or the other should be able to record video, I'm just not sure which fits better). We'll get a crew reaction/summary of events from the Strawhat crew regardless of which options is chosen.

What this poll is about, therefore, is if you guy and gals want me to take the time to show POVs that actively cover the battle itself. It would, most likely, be done from a combination of Ace and Robin's points of view. Ace in the actual battle itself, Robin watching the events from a more zoomed-out battlefield perspective via the Marine Den Den Mushi feed. I might, if I wrote the battle, also show snippets of the Marine side via Garp or Sengoku. Though that's more iffy.

The alternative, of course, is to stick with the Strawhat crew and watch it with them in the aftermath. Which would be more of a 'highlights of what happened and reactions to it' sort of experience. This has the advantage of keeping the focus on them, which is mostly what I've done so far, barring a few reaction chapters from the Marine perspective.

Essentially, it really comes down to two things. The first being if it's important to everyone to see the battle while it's actively taking place and how it changed from canon. The second being, how fast you want to get on with the reactions and aftermath. If I write out the battle, it's likely to consume most or all of the August update. With us probably only getting the battle itself, plus the Strawhat escape from the Archipelago and maybe their reactions to everything. That's sort of the tradeoff here, and why I want everyone's input. I'm not sure which way you all would rather have it. An active POV of the battle, or a highlight reel from the Strawhat crew perspective, with reactions to events by said crew during/afterward...
