Poll Results! (Patreon)

Alright folks, we've got two polls to cover this time. Foremost is the December Story Poll, of course, but we also have the Stripper With a System Companion Poll to get the results of. I'm actually going to cover that second one first, since it was a straight vote with no weighing and you can, therefore, literally just click the link and look for yourself :-p. For those too lazy to do that, though:

Momo won by a decent margin...which I suspect might have something to do with her being the one I most directly mentioned would get in on the kinky shennigans/relationship bits. The perverts among you win again, I guess? Something I only suspect more strongly since the runner up, Kara, was the next most likely relationship prospect, but I implied would be slower to happen...

Ah well, whatever the reasons, so long as you guys, gals and Palworld pals are happy, so am I. There were legitimately arguments in favor of each character, after all, or they wouldn't been been in the poll in the first place! Also, for those disappointed not to see Kara win, never fear. She did well enough in this poll that I will be adding her as an option to future polls. The other three may appear in later polls. Kara will appear in at least some such.

Well, I don't want to say this one was a foregone conclusion, but...the reality is that Pokemon Adventure was always likely to win. It nearly scraped a win last month, only losing out because Automata had built up such a large boost. That meant I was honestly pretty much expecting this win, even if three of the other stories did quite well (and ended up remarkably close in tally to each other). Poor Automata didn't do so well T-T, doubly so since that score it with the twenty votes I give myself helping it along! Yikes!

Now, the winner is clear here, but I promised an announcement! So let's get on to that!

As those of you who have been around for a while might remember, I always try to provide an extra in December, as a bit of a Christmas gift. In this case, I've determined that aforementioned extra is going to be a Stripper With a System update. I'm specifically choosing it because it's currently by far the shortest fic, yet has been performing extremely well in the polls despite that. This is also, by-the-by, why I wanted to make sure the first Companion Poll was done before December, so that I can start working on it when I have bits and pieces of extra time. (Also, if it had won, it would have been impossible to run the poll quickly enough!)

Note that I make no promises regarding the length of the extra update. It may be as little as 5k or as much as a full, normal 15k update. December is always hectic with the Holidays, so it will depend a lot on what I can squeeze in. There will be an update for the story, though, which will include Rylia's first companion summoning. As a secondary note, this extra will not reset it's boost like normal updates do, either. So it's wholly a positive development for those that enjoy the story.

As for those that wanted another story to win? Well, with Pokemon Adventure's boost resetting, and multiple stories due to get a boost in January, you've got a great chance at seeing the story you wanted updated then, so don't despair ;-)! That's all for now, folks!
