Mansory Mercedes-Benz S580 (Patreon)

Not really a racecar, but interesting enough to get our attention :-)

The Mercedes S580 4MATIC (W223) was already a high performance luxury sedan, but the tuning company Mansory brings a lot of modifications to make it even more desirable. Visual modifications are subtle but efficient : fiber carbon bumpers, mirrors and air intakes, forged rims and high performance tyres. The S580 Mansory version is lighter, faster and can play in supercars ground.

The V8 biturbos engine got its power increased to 612 bhp, with a maximum torque increased to 860 Nm. The exhaust line was also modified.

In addition comes an electric motor which gives an extra 20 bhp power from the base version.

The 9G-Tronic 9-speed transmission from Mercedes gives fast accelerations in the low gears and decent top speed (about 290 km/h).

For the stability and handling, the Mansory kit includes adjustable suspensions, lowering the car by 20-30mm at high speed. Tha 4MATIC all wheel drive system comes with the stock version too.
