That's the problem with the kids these days! Not enough literation. Just like grandpappy used to say

I wouldn't have thought of a shield as an accessory 😂 I have no idea what that system is like but I know any time you start making exceptions it gets very tricky to keep things in line. So why not just make everything an accessory for scaling purposes :) (Have a good week, I'm super sleepy, not proofreading this so there may be some oopsies.)

Sir Gary Bummer

There's basically regular clothing slots (top, bottom, inner top, inner bottom, gloves, shoes, stockings), these all scale with the character model naturally, since they're supposed to fit in. Everything else you want to add are accessories, this includes jewelry, horns, teeth, belts, weapons, and a bunch of stuff. Since you can scale these yourself, I thought they weren't also auto scaled by character size. Which was wrong :( Now, shields and weapons can be added in as standalone items in the actual studio, but it's a bit more work since you have to find the right item, position it, scale it, and all of that. Grishla, for example, doesn't have her sword or scabbard normally, every time you see them I've added them manually. In the interest of saving time when I made the guard uniform I added shield, spear, and helmet as accessories, so that I just have to fiddle a bit with them, instead of adding them in for every single character. Adding the shields manually would have made it easy to keep them all the same size, but I would've legitimately banged my head into a wall a dozen times in annoyance when positioning them. So yeah, there you have it. Have a nice week, cheers!
