Hello,

I wanted to give you a quick update: I'll be resuming work on Discovery 2 starting today, so please expect updates from next week onward.

On another note, I regret to inform you that "Broken" has been cancelled, so you can disregard any previous expectations regarding that project.

Thanks for your understanding!

It's not right to leave a work unfinished. Maybe some people won't like it, and that's fine, but at least give it an ending. We pay a monthly subscription, and I think we deserve at least to have the stories concluded, even if you don't continue them. I hope I haven't been disrespectful to you and that I haven't offended anyone. You are a great artist and also a serious person. Please reconsider, or simply finish the story. Thank you.

You’re right, I’m going to finish the bathroom sequence where I left off, at least wrap that part up for the fans. The initial script still had over 40 pages left to fully complete the story and subdue the character. When I mentioned I’d be doing a few more renders to finish the bathroom scene and avoid leaving the story on a cliffhanger for my fans, the client got upset, saying he paid for it, not my audience, and that I needed to prioritize. Honestly, that frustrated me even more, because I don’t take private commissions. Every client of mine knows this. Why? Because I prefer sharing my progress with everyone—my fans included. If I spent 10 days on a private commission, yeah, I’d get paid, but I’d have nothing to show my audience, which I can’t get behind. So, I told Marce, the person who commissioned it, that I’d finish this final part and refunded him for the last 25 pages he paid for. The last sequence will just be a product of my imagination, completely separate from the original script. To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of the second half of the script—it leaned too heavily into too much dominant behavior from the main character. So, Marce agreed to cut that part after I suggested it, so I’ll give him credit for that. Bcz if I don't like something then I am sure I will not give my best results. So at this point, I feel like it’s time for the story to come to an end.

As someone who has got a commissioned comic (Deception) I fully endorse it being shared here after its completion! I have to agree with MrFoxx that a private commission would frustrate all the other patreons and that would kill a creator.
