So fun watching this again with you 😄 Megan has to be my favorite character 😂 Melissa McCartney who plays Megan is actually married to Air Marshall Jon in real life 😅

The cast were all well known and successful actors in the U.S. when this was made. Kristen Wig, Maya Rudolph and Melissa McCarthy were all huge on Saturday Night Live before this movie. Melissa McCarthy already had a couple of movies out also. Wilson Phillips the singers at the end were a famous group in the 80's and had a couple of hit albums. Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson are the the daughters of Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys and Chynna Phillips is the daughter of Michelle Phillips of the Mamas & the Pappas. Beach Boys and Momma's & the Pappas were both famous bands in the U.S. in the 1960's.

Enjoyed your reaction and commentary. For me, this movie is comedy gold. The airplane bit gets me every time. And I agree that Melissa McCarthy steals the show. I voted for this film because it seemed like a movie that you normally wouldn't watch but that I suspected you would really like. It has a captivating story line and a bunch of laugh out loud scenes. BTW, the actress who plays Helen is Rose Byrne -- she's Australian and gives a perfect American accent. Her partner in real life is Bobby Cannavale, an actor who played Fizbo's clown partner in Modern Family. And, yes, the actress who plays Cam's sister from Modern Family also plays the flight attendant in Bridesmaids.

Loved watching this again and your reactions made it even better. The cast was perfect! Nick is right (this time🤣) A great cast can improve a bad movie... a great story can't make bad actors better...
