For the first time in the series the documentary crew broke the barrier and involved themselves in the life of Dunder Mifflin and the workers.

I hate that they made the sound guy such a handsome actor, so of course he's going to suddenly be a part of the story. No crew member in real life would look so good. 😭

A lot of people hate this storyline but my only complaint with it is that they didn't mess around involving the camera crew earlier in the series. They're in a unique position with the show given that the camera crew is in on it and the audience knows they're there. Of course after so many years you would start to know these people.

Not the first time. Way back in season 2, when Pam suspects Dwight and Angela are sleeping together the cameraman points out to her that Dwight bought a candy bar for Angela.
