“Sam and Gilly meet an older gentleman” is one of my favorite descriptions now.

Jade

Getting closer to season 4. My favourite season. 🙌

Jade

"Hope Theon is still doing ok". What show are you watching Nick?

Kevin Steinhelper

Ah you guys waited an extra day to drop the episode on my birthday. Thanks guys! Just saw you watched episode 9. Now you know why I said to please avoid spoilers at all costs during your livestream :( you are no longer sweet summer children after having watched that one.

DN Reacts

That’s exactly what we did 😂 Yeah I’m still not ready to talk about it. My word 😭

Dragonglass is just another name for obsidian - a material that exists in OUR real world, BTW - Obsidian comes from lava that has been cooled down for many years, centuries perhaps, and it can be found in dormant volcanoes. Not sure if we have been told if there is a volcano in Westeros, but know that dragons like to nest in or near volcanoes... 🤔

Krystal

I think you guys were asking about Littlefinger. He sailed away in the episode where we see Sansa crying while watching a boat sail away. That was Littlefinger off to the Vale

Joe Brown

dany getting out the tub naked was definitely a show of defiance/dominance: shes saying "you have me in a situation most would feel vulnerable in, but i refuse to be vulnerable. i'll get out naked right in front of you, i dont care" essentially.

Tim Coates

Gendry did watch Season 2...he watched the first 10min and then gave up on it for some reason.

Joe Brown

obsidian forms when lava cools extremely quickly (often within minutes), not over years or centuries lol

DN Reacts

Yeah I said that that seemed like a show of confidence and power, great scene!

DN Reacts

Oh, that makes sense! To me, the boat seemed stationary 😂 missed that one!

-- Riverlands: Arya contemplates how to get away from the Hound before he reveals to her that he is no longer in Joffrey's Kingsguard and is instead taking her to the Twins to return her to her mother for a cash reward. She still wants him dead for killing Micah and he's still on her "list," but for the time being he is helping her get where she needs to go, and that's good enough for Arya. -- Yunkai: The Masters of Yunkai have hired the Second Sons, a group of sellswords, to help defend them against Dany and the Unsullied. Dany decides to meet with the leaders of the Second Sons to try to convince them to join her side instead, but the meeting is not very productive (to say the least). Later that day, the generals discuss sneaking into her camp and assassinating her. Daario Naharis is the one who gets nominated to carry this out, but instead he goes to Dany that night and presents the heads of the other two generals. He proclaims that the Second Sons will fight for Daenerys and that his life and heart are hers. -- Dragonstone: Melisandre arrives with Gendry and tells Stannis with some thinly veiled symbolism that she plans to kill Gendry like a sacrificial lamb. Davos is in his cell, practicing his reading and it's going really well. Stannis visits Davos in the dungeons and tells him of Melisandre's plans. Davos rightly deduces that Stannis wants Davos to talk him out of this plan, saying that Stannis isn't the type of person who just sacrifices innocent people for no reason. Instead of murdering him, Melisandre instead steals some of Gendry's blood using leeches, telling him to thank Davos for this because he wanted to see a "demonstration" of the power of king's blood. Stannis throws three leeches into the fire, reciting out three names - "Robb Stark, Balon Greyjoy, Joffrey Baratheon." -- King's Landing: It's Tyrion and Sansa's wedding day! Who would have ever thought that Sansa would become a Lannister? Tyrion comes to speak to Sansa before the ceremony and makes her a promise - that he will never hurt her. Sansa looks like she wants to believe him, but she isn't quite ready to yet after she's been lied to so many times. As everyone gathers for the ceremony, Margaery tries to get buddy-buddy with Cersei, but she's tired of pretending to play nice. She asks Margaery if she knows the Lannister song, 'The Rains of Castamere' and then explains the story behind the song; the story of Tywin destroying House Reyne, who had been the second richest family in the kingdoms at the time, the position that House Tyrell is currently in. She then totally drops the facade and lets Margaery know they are never going to be friends - "If you call me 'sister' again, I'll have you strangled in your sleep." Tyrion and Sansa's wedding goes off basically without a hitch, except for some threats by Joffrey (what else is new), Tyrion getting drunk (what else is new), and Olenna having a grand old time trying to figure out how everyone will be related once Margaery marries the king and her brother marries his mother. After the nuptials, Tyrion realizes he can't sleep with Sansa and says he won't share her bed until she wants him to, which she says she may never want - in the morning, Shae is very happy to see that. This is a very tenuous situation though, how long can it last? -- North of the Wall: Sam and Gilly find a shack to stay in for the night. As they sit inside and discuss different things like whether or not the baby winked at Sam, the difference between given and family names, and how cruel both their fathers were to them, they can hear that the ravens outside are getting louder and louder by the moment. Sam goes outside to see that dozens of ravens have come to sit on the Werewood tree and are screeching extremely loudly. Suddenly, everything goes quiet and we see a White Walker approaching through the woods. He simply touches Sam's sword and shatters it, and barely touches Sam and send him flying through the air. In a last act of desperation, Sam stabs him in the back with the dragonglass dagger and it absolutely destroys him.
