Nobody has seen Hot Pie since he was mysteriously left to bake bread at that inn......Joffrey is killed whilst eating a pie....coincidence????

Pycelle: "Your Grace, I never meant to annoy you." Cersei: "But you are. You're annoying me right now." Damo: "Me too!" 😂 The disdain for Pycelle had me laughing!

Best wedding ever! What does this mean? Who is next in line for the throne? Does beneath the tree mean buried or simple under the canopy of the tree? The vision showed the shadow flying over King's Landing...it also shows the iron throne in the ruins of the throne room...and other things to include the crypt beneath Winterfel as you mentioned.

CutterKilgore

Tyrion's "boring" wedding to Sansa looking better and better by comparison.

I love the almost giddiness behind your eyes at the end of this one! 🤣 We all felt the same way!

Continually entertained and impressed with a lot of your predictions and commentary. You two are very thoughtful and interesting in your discussions. One harmless critique is you two sometimes talk over the shows dialogue and miss things, visually, on occasion. But more importantly, I'd like to say that I hope both of you are utterly savoring what you are witnessing as perhaps the best tv show unravels before you. Top five characters so far? Top 5 episodes?

Huzzah!! It's finally time! The King is dead! I've been so excited for you to get to this one. Shout out to Jack Gleeson who did an INCREDIBLE job playing a character who was, at a time, the most hated (fictional) person on the planet. It was iconic how much the entire world wanted this boy dead. 😂👏👏👏 You crushed it Jack, all the kudos.

-- Dreadfort: We see Ramsay's attitude when his father is not around (hunting Tansy in the woods with Myranda and the hounds, with Reek in tow of course) - confident and sadistic, totally in control, and just delighting in causing terror and pain to others. When Roose arrives, we meet the "fat young bride" he told us about, Walder Frey's granddaughter Walda. We also get to see the dynamic between Roose and Ramsay for the first time. Their father-son relationship is similar to some others in the show in that Ramsay wants to impress Roose and win his favor, but they have some benefits that some other father-son pairs haven't had. Although Ramsay is a bastard, Roose hasn't had a wife (up until now) or trueborn children, so he and Ramsay have been closer than a father normally would be to a bastard son - their family is really just the two of them. Also, unlike Theon and Balon, Roose and Ramsay have never really spent any time away from each other. I think Roose was the main influence on Ramsay growing up, which probably has a lot to do with how he turned out. He chastizes him at first for how he's treated Theon, but Ramsay manages to show him how "Reek" can be used to their advantage and reveals the truth about the Stark boys not being killed. Roose sends Locke to Castle Black to search for Bran and Rickon, and tells Ramsay to take Moat Cailin for their family and he'll "reconsider his position" - possibly meaning he'll legitimize him and make him a Bolton instead of a Snow? -- Dragonstone: Stannis burns three people at the stake, including his brother-in-law, Selyse's brother Axell Florent. He says its because they refused to take down the idols to their gods when he commanded them to start worshipping the Lord of Light instead, but I wonder if it had something to do with more blood magic - Melisandre always seems to need a sacrifice of some kind in order to perform her "magic." That night, after a tense dinner with Stannis and Selyse, Melisandre goes to speak with Princess Shireen on Selyse's request. Shireen obviously dislikes Melisandre, and is skeptical of the "ritual" that was performed on the beach, saying that her uncle was a kind man and now he's bone and ash. -- North of the Wall: Bran is seeing through Summer's eyes and is pretty annoyed when the others wake him up from his warging, but then they tell him he's been gone for hours, and that the longer he wargs the more likely he is to forget his human self and their mission. Bran then touches a weirwood tree and gets a barrage of visions as well as a message - "Look for me, beneath the tree. North." He tells the others, "I know where we have to go." -- Kings Landing: Tyrion and Jaime have a talk about Jaime's situation and his need to practice fighting with his left hand with a discreet trainer. Tyrion arranges for Bronn to provide this service and he's the *perfect* person to do so. Bronn, like Brienne, is one of the only people in Jaime's entire life who hasn't kissed his ass and told him how great he is all the time. He's being tough on him, which is exactly what he needs right now. Varys warns Tyrion that Tywin and Cersei know about Shae, and at Joffrey's wedding breakfast Tyrion overhears them talking about her which prompts him to finally break things off with her for good. He knew she wouldn't take it well, and is actually paranoid that she hasn't left for Pentos on the ship that he arranged for her, although Bronn assures him that he actually saw her go. The royal wedding gives *so many* great opportunities for all the different characters to have such great interactions. Some of my faves: Olenna and Tywin talking and Olenna shooing Mace away when he runs up like a puppy looking for treats; Cersei figuring out that Brienne loves Jaime; Olenna offering some sympathy to Sansa after Robb and Catelyn's deaths (perhaps the only person besides Tyrion and Shae to do so), and of course Oberyn's veiled threats towards Tywin and Cersei. The entire scene between Joffrey and Tyrion was one of the most awkward/tense scenes in the history of television. I am SO EXCITED for you guys to go back and watch the wedding reception again after you figure out the truth behind Joffrey's assassination! And of course Cersei, who has blamed Tyrion his entire life for the death of their mother, who despises him and has tried to get rid of him at every opportunity, blames Tyrion for Joffrey's demise ...

many other people were likely eating the pie. remember, the entire scene was focused on Tyrion as Joffrey's cupbearer. ask yourselves this: who has the most to gain from Joffrey's death, and who would be willing to make tyrion look guilty?

Trevor Patterson

I can't believe you dropped the last episode of The Office and Joffrey's death on the same day!
