Tbh I kinda respect that Ramsay was a bit…busy and still was at the front fighting shirtless with his men. He’s obviously so evil and twisted, but he’s a really really good villain and does seem to do right by his father whenever he can. I think it was smart to have him come into the show when he did as well; GRRM presumably knew Joffrey’s time was coming to an end, and he got a real psychopath to come fill that role

Also once again a round of applause for Iwan Rheon for his portrayal of Ramsay—10/10 actor imo

-- King's Landing: Jaime and Tyrion are arguing in the dungeon cell about Tyrion's epic outburst and the effect on the outcome of the trial. Tyrion somewhat jokingly asks Jaime if he'll be his champion during the trial by combat, but Jaime quickly shuts that idea down; Tyrion seems sure that Bronn will stand in for him as he did before. We also discover that the Mountain is to be the crown's champion in the trial by combat (and we meet the third actor who has played the Mountain in the series). Later, when Bronn comes to visit Tyrion he informs him that he's actually not willing to fight the Mountain for him as he has recently become engaged to a lady a bit above his station and he's looking forward to living his new life. He also points out that Tyrion has never risked anything for him, even though they are friends, and Bronn's got to look out for himself at some point. Tyrion gets a third and final visit this episode from Oberyn, who tells him a disturbing story about when they first met right after Tyrion was born. Not only was Tyrion labelled a "monster" for being a dwarf, but also due to her mother's death Cersei particularly hates her younger brother and tried to harm him. This is one aspect of their relationship that seems to have never changed after all these years. Oberyn tells Tyrion that since the Mountain and Tywin are the people he came to King's Landing to confront, serving as his champion is a perfect opportunity for him, so he officially makes the offer. -- Riverlands: Arya and the Hound come across a dying man and put him out of his misery - the Hound uses this as a teaching opportunity for Arya ("That's where the heart is.") Suddenly they get ambushed by some men trying to collect the bounty on the Hound's head. They kill the men, but the Hound is injured. Later, Arya tries to cauterize his wound but he won't let her come anywhere close to him with fire due to his deep fear associated with it. Brienne and Pod stop at the inn where Hotpie works for dinner and against Pod's advice, Brienne tells him they're looking for Sansa - Hotpie tells them the truth about what happened to Arya after Ned's death, including the last time he saw her and where she was heading at the time. Upon leaving the inn, they head towards the Eyrie, hoping the Stark girls would go there to meet up with Lysa. -- The Wall: Jon and the others arrive back from their mission to Craster's Keep and there is a discussion about how to start prepping for the defense against the wildling army. Jon says they have to flood and then freeze the tunnel, but Alliser says no way - that's their only way to access north of the wall. He claims the tunnel gate is enough of a defense. -- Meereen: Daenerys and Daario finally take their flirtatious relationship to the next level and they sleep together. Daenerys sends the Second Sons back to Yunkai to retake the city and kill the Masters, but then Jorah comes in and changes her mind. He convinces her to give them a choice instead - "They can live in my new world or they can die in their old one." -- Dragonstone: Melisandre reveals to Selyse her use of various potions to make people see what she wants them to, meaning her "visions" in the flames have all been manufactured. Selyse asks if she used tricks to get Stannis to sleep with her, but Melisandre denies this. They also talk about Princess Shireen and Melisandre says they have to take her with them where they are going. -- The Eyrie: After Robin throws a ridiculous tantrum and Sansa slaps him, Littlefinger comes in and starts telling her the creepiest thing ever about how he should have been her father, then says she's more beautiful than her mother was and kisses her (barf). Lysa unfortunately sees the whole thing (I also unfotunately saw the whole thing, because it was gross). Lysa meets up with Sansa near the moon door and has another one of her manic freak outs - she threatens to throw her out the moon door until Littlefinger comes in. He assures her that he doesn't love Sansa because he's only ever loved one woman in his whole life; Lysa starts to smile until he reveals that woman is Catelyn - then he pushes Lysa out the moon door to her death.
