Was it a coincidence that the number of drinks they each had at the bar was 4? I have a feeling the writers knew what they were doing :) 4-drink-Amy

I think TV shows can sometimes overuse the character reaction crash zoom but Brooklyn 99 strikes such a good balance imo. Case in point: when Amy cites the no sex rule and Jake has a perfect non-reaction. The crash zoom makes that such a hilarious moment.

I have such a specific and inexplicable celebrity crush on Bill Hader, so the extreme excitement and almost immediate crash of him appearing and then leaving was a real roller-coaster. 😭 I think he might have been a tinge too famous to be a regular cast member at the time though

Bill Hader (the captain) was working alot with Andy Samberg (Jake) on SNL back in the days. You should definitely check some of those sketches out, maybe as a new mini-series.
