It can be a very difficult process to legally change your name, this quite a big factor for women when considering whether to take their husband's name. Tammy is super vindictive so maybe that is why, but just thought I'd throw that in the mix too

Like someone else mentioned, Nick (Ron) and Megan (Tammy) are a married couple in real life, and they're such a funny duo! Unsure if you've even seen the show Will & Grace, but she was a main character in that and really stole the show most of the time
