NRaO Chapter 07 (Patreon)

I don’t do the same against my next opponent. He is a leaf shinobi so I go easy on him as well but make the fight entertaining enough he might pass. After giving him enough face I slap him down injuring him but not hurting him too badly. Tsunade went against the other member of the mist group that was paired with the Yuki ninja.

Thankfully I would get to fight the Yuki girl next. I’d at least get a warmup round before the finals. Golden eyes went against Melinda Terumi who surrendered after using all her chakra to try winning. The boy just outran her attacks and as he drew close to strike that’s when she surrendered. She placed her hands on his chest and whispered into his ear. I couldn’t make it out but the boy made it clear he wasn’t interested.

My fight with the ice release beauty went as expected. She lost a three vs one against Jiraiya. She stood no chance against me so I played with her a little bit. Before she could surrender I put my hand over her mouth because I noticed something interesting. She was highly aroused to the point I could pick it up by smell.

She had a glaring weakness that would cripple her in the future and she didn’t even notice so I decided to give her an out. I poured a poison that would cause her to feel pain if she launched ninjutsu her weak body couldn’t handle. Either she would learn to limit her attacks or she would die the first real threat against her life. I did give her a chance to become a strong ninja.

“If you survive, defect to the hidden leaf village.” 

With that I slammed her on the ground not knocking her out but hurting her enough she couldn’t move. Stealing ninjas to make my clan was an extremely risky process. A kekkei genkai was the bare minimum to join I decided and I would be more evil than normal to get them to come to me.

It would still be years before that happens most likely. She couldn’t even make the poison work as she didn’t have enough chakra. Probably a few years until she could use ninjutsu strong enough to trigger the poison then years after that to give up and quit or seek me out.

The fight between Tsunade and the golden eyed boy was close. It was far closer than any fights once again. The boy barely just barely won being the first to stand up after two large scale attacks struck each other. I was far less interested in the fight after seeing him struggle so much against Tsunade.

Lack of knowledge between the two left him at an advantage because his ninjutsu were more varied and deadly. Tsunade spent most of her time being a medic nin otherwise she’d have won. His black lightning was flashy but not as overwhelming as it looks. As we head to the arena I speak. “You should surrender. I won't go easy on you because you’ve had a few hard fights.”

He casually spoke. “Barui. That’s my name.” I gave him mine. “Orochimaru and I’m being serious. You should surrender. I'm far stronger than you and I’m devoted to my village. I will cripple you if I get the chance.”

He only smirked before saying. “Isn’t that what us ninjas do? We put our lives on the line every time we go on a mission.” Once again I warned him. “Those are missions not a friendly exam to see if you’re ready to be a chunin. The smart thing to do here is quit and not have yourself crippled for the rest of your life. I’m giving you this final warning: you can’t beat me.”

Once again he smirked before saying. “We’ll see about that.” He didn’t say any more words, just charging at me. I pulled the sword Danzo tried to kill me with out of the snake storage jutsu I had in my mouth. I fired off a few dozen deadly snakes in the area before me and prepared my family seal scroll to summon the white snake to fight alongside me.

He channels the black lightning through the blade before launching a lightning infused wind slash at me. I call out my move. “Basic ass earth wall jutsu.” Forming a normal wall his attack lands on it not even piercing through it. I sigh as I don’t want to do what I have to for the sake of our village.

I coated my blade in petrifying poison. Every injury inflicted would be harder and turn flesh to stone. I used the earth release ground travel to travel under the wall using my sensor snakes to see above. He slowly approached the wall killing and avoiding the snakes I summoned as a distraction. I popped up behind him and as he turned to swing towards me my blade chopped at his arm.

I tried to cleave his arm off with the poison making it not possible to reattach but the blade stopped at the bone. I backed away as he dropped his blade and swung it towards me with his other hand. I kicked the blade away and placed my hand on his chest. I applied a cursed seal which would be very difficult to remove that worked as an anticoagulant so wounds continuously bleed until death.

He used the rest of his chakra forming a black lightning panther close enough to should have been unavoidable. That would have been if I couldn’t use one of the most basic jutsu that goes underutilized by everyone. As the panther struck me I turned into a lump of wood which was charred and blackened by the lightning.

I couldn’t kill him otherwise I’d outright risk restarting the war. I kicked his back, almost breaking him in half which was one of the less deadly attacks I could launch at him. I called out again. “Proctor, I would just like to let it be known that if the fight continues I’m not sure I’ll be able to hold back my more deadly techniques.”

The boy's body began to transform in front of me. For a brief moment I feel a slight hint of fear before I see what he turned into. I almost burst out laughing as I see his half tanuki form. He licked his petrified arm and it started to visibly heal. I saw the seal slowly dissolve itself. It makes me want to use my hidden technique. I decide fuck it, if he’s going all out I can show another trump card. My body starts to shift just as he did. Skin turned to white pristine scales and I grew almost twice the size I was.

The smirk I could still see on his face vanished as I had grown to almost twice his size. I said out loud. “Uh oh. Mine is bigger.”
