Jiraiya landed back in the middle of Mount Myoboku. He had accidentally reverse summoned himself before but was still too young and inexperienced to learn from the toads about becoming a sage. He would have never done this but he felt the distance between him and his rival was only growing. He had to make the deal with the two frog sages even though it truly disgusted him.

As he approached the two he kneeled down with his head and begged to not have to do what they said had to be done to learn all they could teach. If he didn’t agree to something that went against his bottom line he knew he’d lose to Orochimaru. He knew right now was the turning point for him and if he could get the full teaching method without going against his bottom line he wouldn’t mind begging and pleading for it instead.

Both shook their heads at him, letting Jiraiya know the only way to learn everything they had to teach was to do the unthinkable. He gulped and mourned a future that could have happened as he said. “I… I agree then… I’ll marry into the Myoboku family. He doomed one of his aspirations of having many ninja babies with many women for his dream of being a powerful shinobi.

No, even then Jiraiya was a virgin and there was zero chance he’d be able to have sex with a female frog. He was becoming something of a true sage and was most likely going to die a virgin. He needed to become stronger, he could see the writing on the wall. Within ten years there would be another ninja war and he needed the strength to protect those close to him.

They all got word around to all the frogs and in weeks they held their marriage. He still hadn’t even seen the frog he was marrying until he watched her walk down the aisle. She wasn’t a frog but a hybrid like Orochimaru. Thick blackish purple hair and a sizable bust drew Jiraiya’s attention. Even in the wedding dress he could see she had thick legs that would be great for… Jumping and kicking.

Maybe he wouldn’t regret this afterall. As the wedding proceeded Fukasaku asked the question. “Do you Jiraiya take Froppy to be your wife?” With the boyish grin he was known for Jiraiya say. “You bet!” As he agreed the girl puffed her cheeks out before saying. “Grampa it’s Tsuyu! Don’t call me by my nickname!”

Tsunade and Junko arrived at Shikkotsu forest and began training. Junko had huge holes in her knowledge from lack of schooling and Tsunade helped her learn when she could. The problem Tsunade had before was suddenly relieved by bringing another along with her to learn beside her. The biggest problem with the forest was the lack of other people.

Tsunade could only hold out in the forest for two weeks before leaving. She was an extroverted person and needed attention. Those two weeks were the most boring in her life and she didn’t think it was worth the effort to learn everything the snail who comprised the forest could teach. That was it exactly, the only other person to talk to was the shy snail and all the miniature versions of herself who constantly annoyed Tsunade with their constant questions of the outside world.

Junko took it in stride and told Katsuyu anything she wanted to know for an entire day and that pleased the slug greatly. Tsunade was once again glad she brought someone else with her as she couldn’t learn the full sage mode without another person. The more she would bring, the more powerful she could become. There was just one drawback.

The seals used to store natural energy were shared with the wielders. Both would store and build the energy but both could use the shared energy. It meant the more people you brought in the faster and more natural energy you could store but if one person was greedy and used it all up then the rest couldn’t. It was only meant to be done with family members or people close to each other. A person could waste years of stored energy in a matter of minutes.

It was meant to be a trump card which was great. Actually she couldn’t help but laugh as she remembered that Junko didn’t want to fight at all. She’d get full access to her stored natural energy if she stayed a homemaker. They both agreed to have the shared contract seal placed on their foreheads but it got Tsunade thinking. What if she could reverse engineer the seal and store chakra instead of natural energy?

She could bring any of Orochimaru’s wives who wanted to just bear him children and give them the seal that gathered natural energy. They would sit in the village and work as batteries for Tsunade and she could use his own wives strength against him to show that women were superior. She couldn’t help but chuckle at her plan as she began to puke.

The Kazekage had pushed a huge budget into the knowledge and growth of puppet making and manipulation. Kai was a young up and comer who quickly filled in a spot on the construction process and he absorbed knowledge like a sponge. While he was awful at the invention aspect and could only make predesigned puppets.

Slowly he was becoming one of the more well known puppet makers… Little did they know he was a snake clone of Orochimaru sent to infiltrate their village and learn everything they taught.

The old blacksmith had found the Kirigakure to be very boring and surprisingly hard living. They had to fish or have food shipped across the sea. The village just didn’t meet the man’s standards. He was there for one mission though and that was to help repair one of the seven swords of the mist. Or touch one, or work on swords equivalent to their power.

He didn’t want to be a normal blacksmith but one with a name as a maker of weapons on par with the seven swords or even the treasured tools of the sage of six paths. That was a dream for if he could reproduce a strong weapon like the seven swords. It was a month later that he managed to steal some confidential information on how to make them and… They weren’t made by blacksmiths. The best a blacksmith could do would be make a chakra blade.

The special weapons were born from a spirit with strong emotions that could become a weapon. That’s why they seemed so random. Also there were only six weapons of the mist. Kabutowari was just a hammer and axe. It was for publicity that seven swordsmen sounded better than six. The book had theories on how each was made but it was impossible to be sure.

Hiramekarei appeared in the hidden mist when the most famous blacksmith died without leaving behind a legacy. It was thought that the weapon came from his unfulfilled dream. A small child wanted more than anything to be able to use lightning release and being struck by lightning making the Kiba swords. A serial killer wanted to get more powerful from killing and thus the Kubikiribocho was born.

A member of the kaguya clan who could produce bones from his body died from bleeding to death and made Nuibari. It was thought that he only wished he could sew his wounds closed so he could keep fighting. Samehada was a fish who got stuck in a cave and starved to death. Shibuki was made when a man blew himself up and wished it happened to someone else. Once again these were all just speculations on how the swords were made.

The big news came when one of the seven swords came into possession of the blacksmith. As a clone he didn’t need to worry about his life so at great risk to himself he managed to steal one of the seven swords and hid it before dying. When the clone's memories returned to Orochimaru he could only laugh at his luck and the fools who lost their weapon. When he had the chance he’d go and collect it but even just having it stolen was a slap in the face of the seven swordsmen of the mist.
