This was the only good fighter in the entirety of the main branch and even then if you can hit him hard enough you can break that stupid rotation technique.

He calmed himself down before speaking. “What do you want? You’ve already won, going to pluck out my eyeballs like you most likely did to my other family members?” I coldly chuckled. “Oh, you’re families fine. I have them moved into my own home so that they aren't bullied for being old main branch Hyuga. Your wife is a maid in my home now.”

“To get stronger is to eat special kekkei genkai! The person has to be alive when I do it for the full effect and the stronger their bloodline the more effective the boost is to my own abilities. Hell, I might get those special eyes outside of sage mode if you’re 'pure' enough.” The look of shock changed to unbridled fear as my jaw unhinged and I bit down snapping the ropes and chair he was tied to into pieces in one bite.

In a little under a minute, he was fully devoured which was good, any longer and I might have dropped out of my half-form. It was more taxing on natural energy but it made consuming victims that much easier. I felt a sudden tremendous boost to my powers as my vision suddenly spiked. I could now see as if I was part Hyuga. While I was worried about whether or not my eyes had changed, it didn’t matter in the long run. I’d hide them with contact lenses and enjoy the full boost of my new powers to the fullest.

It would take six months to absorb an adult, if I had eaten a child it would have only been one month but there were other trade-offs that made it more advantageous to absorb adults. Slowly his body would be absorbed and I would gain more power and control over his kekkei genkai. Also, a part of his chakra reserves would be rolled into mine as I absorbed more and more of him.

That would push back my ‘buy slaves with kekkei genkai to eat’ strategy back six months. I would rather not give them any hope by taking care of them for half a year only to devour them later, I want them to know what is going to happen, be on guard for it, and put up a fight if possible before being eaten. I had looked into who was stealing the orphanage funds and it was someone tied to Hiruzen. If he gave her a slap on the wrist instead of the full punishment she deserves I’d be there to deal out proper punishment to her clan. Maybe I’d just take advantage of Koharu Utatane herself, she was a woman still in her breeding age after all.
