The moment my clone noticed me slither into his building he dismissed himself flooding me with his memories. The snake clone worked as an extra pair of eyes but if I didn’t dismiss and replace them every few weeks the backlash from too much knowledge would cause tremendous headaches. He had gained more knowledge on where the swordsmen were and all were recalled back to the village for a huge meeting that would take place in three days.

That was most likely when they would announce the plans for war. The feel of the village had shifted dramatically in just a few days. While everyone would be out and friendly after the new Daiymo took power now there were far fewer people on the streets and everyone looked wary. I worked my way through the stalls, the prices of everything had shot up and no one met my eyes.

Even people I knew in this false persona couldn’t look at me, afraid to break the new rules and be pulled out by ninja suppression squads roaming the streets. I was approached once but after a short trip into an alleyway the people who asked me to stop were too busy being dead to bother anyone else. I was saving the three swords I had previous knowledge to steal and had begun looking for the remaining three.

One was already stolen from them, hidden and waiting for the chance to be collected. As easy as bringing it back would have been, it would do no one any favors because it was only one-half of the original. I needed the other blade for them to function. That still dropped the power of the strongest(in my opinion) sword of the seven swords of the mist.

So I technically needed to find four swords still. The weakest three were the ones I knew the location of. Shibuki, Kabutowari, Nuikbari. As I was making plans I froze at the sight of one of my targets. The nearest squad of enforcers had a member with the Kubikiribucho or Executioner’s blade was the middle on the strength scale of the seven swords. It gave the person wielding it no additional powers but it was still a big ass sword. Anyone with the strength to wield the weapon would be a threat up close.

With my real body here and them reducing the amount of people on the streets it was trivially easy to do something to draw their attention and lure them to their deaths. Just making eye contact with the man wielding the sword was enough. I chuckled as he was the first to die and it was too an even bigger weapon. I could walk the streets killing practically indiscriminately with no real threat of being killed here.

Now besides the swords, I was also looking for special clans. Hidden Mist had as many if not more special and powerful clans as the Hidden Leaf. The Terumi family, Hoshigaki, Hozuki, Funato, and Yuki clan. The Yuki clan had fallen from grace and many had hidden their clan ties. A knife came towards my back as I was distracted and I effortlessly evaded it.

What are the chances that another sword would come to me? It was one I knew of though which was unfortunate but still. If I stripped their weapons and killed their wielders it would heavily cripple Hidden Mist's fighting force. The hammer and axe that wasn’t a sword or a spirit weapon. I didn’t bother hiding this murder, instead openly attacked and made as much noise as possible.

Smashing every enforcement squad I came across I had been pulling more and more attention. It was at that moment that the two other clones I created who knew the locations of the two swords appeared. Both had gotten them with relative ease. Still, I was worried about when the hammer would drop. The only swordsmen left were the ones I could be killed by. Especially if they grouped up and came to confront me in the open like this…

I began to run as if I was actually scared of the remaining swordsman. Running directly to my prepared battlefield I was half tempted to pull in even more ninjas to fight. Now, why was I so sure I could defeat these ninjas? Because I was stronger, faster, more resilient, and smarter than them. Every ninja spends huge parts of their career learning ninjutsu but to be completely honest, that’s an incredibly ineffective waste of effort.

Knowing a billion ninja techniques means nothing if the guy who trained his body can just punch your heart out of your chest or cut your head off before you can make three seals. The swordsmen were also very bad at sword fighting. Like, surprisingly so, it was as if they didn’t practice much and relied on their soul weapons for their strength.

As the fat fishman wielding Samehada was the first to charge at me. I kept retreating even though he stepped over the first trap. If I blew him up the others might run. As they ran into my death trap I couldn’t help but chuckle. “Fufufu. You’re all dead now.” Even the need to gloat leaked from me. Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! One managed to avoid the explosions. I cut him off from escaping and parted her head from his body.

It was unfortunate but the fat fish died in the process, I tried to wait for him to get mostly out of the explosion range but he jumped back into it. It meant I’d need to find another later, perhaps on the battlefield to consume. The clan seemed to have above-average strength and the ability to breathe underwater was hard to pass up… Fuck it I’ll take his corpse… Fuck it I’ll take all their corpses.

Four of my clones were searching for other clan members and jumped toward me each carrying a member of a different clan, one with a pseudo jinchuriki I had never noticed inside the village before. Two men and two women, both women were awake and not fighting. Those two clones disappeared as I eyed the four up. Fuck, what did she say her name was?

M… I knew her last name but what was her first name? Mel… Meg… I guess I’ll just have to ask. Before I could the pseudo jinchuriki spoke first. “Melinda good to see you. I’m surprised you haven’t started sucking this man's dick the moment he offered to take you out of the Hidden Mist.”

Melinda just smiled back at her. “Oh, Yoko. It’s good to see you. I’m so used to seeing you with a different man on your arm that it was hard to recognize you without a strange man beside you. You know, because men can only stand you until you sleep with them on the first date then run as far away as they can.”

Both clones let me know they were both willing to become my concubines and even submit to the slave seal to leave this village that was becoming more and more unstable. I already knew Melinda was a beauty but who is this other woman? She was beautiful, even if she was a powerful pseudo jinchuriki if she wasn’t pretty enough I’d rather just eat her for her power.

Deep red hair and rainbow eyes she looked not real, like a doll more than a human. A small height and has a bust with her breasts pressed up to show off her attributes. She was the definition of a feisty little thing. As tiny as she was I was getting threat levels I never had from any other pseudo jinchuriki. She was strong, strong enough to make me feel slightly threatened. Still, the fuck me eyes she gives me let me know that our relationship wouldn’t be a confrontational one.
