A random Uzumaki child’s Point of View
I ran through the forests at the edge of the village with my baby sister in my hands. I couldn’t believe it, we were all told that the Uzumaki whirlpool formations were unbeatable. It would take an army that didn’t exist to defeat. Then how were we being invaded? My mother was slain outside our door, the only warning we got for what was actually happening was her scream that was cut off by her death.
My father killed the several shinobi that were going door to door, slaughtering the civilian wing of the village. We had gotten lucky with our father recently retiring, he was skilled enough to kill those around us but more and more just kept coming, their numbers endless. He yelled for me to run with my sister and that is what I did. Still, I couldn’t believe it, how did this happen? I was about to graduate from our shinobi school next year, I knew the chances of survival were now more up to fate than anything else.
I made it to the edge of the village and looked across the body of water the village was in the center of to see hundreds of ninjas running across the water. The whirlpool filled with sand or debris from the ships they tried to cross with. The outskirts of the village was more ninja than terrain, we were dead. There was no escaping this.
As a hand came up and covered my face, I felt myself sink into the ground not sure what was happening. I couldn’t see anything but darkness as a man whispered. “Keep it quiet, no reason to wake your sister.”

Tsuchikage’s Point of View
I flew over the village attacking the higher-ranking family houses. The leadership needed to be dealt with but it was just too dangerous for me to risk myself. I would let the other villages sacrifice their ninjas while we handled the easy missions like killing the civilians and families of the ninjas. Lazering another house without much thought before moving on to the next.
I pull at my beard, as I fire again and again. Slowly I made my way towards the center of the village. Lasering at another house, I didn’t even see the thing that hit me in the arm, it was moving that fast. One moment I felt normal the next I could feel poison starting to spread through my body rapidly. How’d it bypass my defenses? Without a moment of hesitation, I chopped my arm off before looking for whoever did that.
I dodge another projectile and get the trajectory before I fire another laser in that direction. A projectile from the exact opposite direction as I turned hit my cloak. What the hell was this? It was corrosive enough to eat through most of it before I had it ripped off my body. I prepare clones to take hits from whatever could breach my defenses. Another dozen projectiles were fired at me, still with no sight of who was doing it I kept my guard up and they just suddenly stopped.
I think nothing of it and get back to my extermination… Except there are no people fleeing from me anymore. Before, someone would try to come out as the buildings collapsed, but as I destroyed the houses, I knew they were empty. I was wasting my time, the person wasn’t even trying to kill me and managed to take my arm. Whoever did this is one of the most dangerous people I’ve fought against, I still don’t know how he did it. My barriers and gravity field should have dealt with any projectiles. The person must have had a tailor-made counter for me specifically.

Uzushiokage’s Point of View
“Go! We must save as many children as possible! Go to your families, make them bleed for every inch they take of our land! Go, we must hold for as long as possible!” I cried out. How did this happen? They managed to counter all of our defensive formations with either inside information or through overwhelming manpower.
Some of the whirlpools were just filled with shipwrecks and corpses until they stopped functioning. That wouldn’t be hundreds but rather thousands of corpses and dozens of ships to do. A single ninja village wouldn’t have the troops to pull this off, this has to be an allied force attacking us. We already had word that the first to engage with us was the hidden stone. They had the highest casualties, almost eager to feed us their troops to gain any footholds on land. An estimated ten thousand died before they even touched our soil.
The next would be the hidden mist. They were the first to punch through our water defenses, their numbers were far more limited but each was a huge asset on the water. Even still, hundreds were killed in the initial attack. Finally, the hidden sands leader was seen purposely filling the whirlpools to make the water safer to traverse. Still, close to a thousand of their shinobi were killed in the attacks. It just didn’t make sense.
We worked with every village! Many of their jinchuriki were from the Uzumaki clan with Uzumaki seals and most used our explosive tags, storage scrolls, or defensive formations. It just didn’t make sense for them to attack an entrenched mostly ally unless there was someone pulling the strings from behind the scenes. If it was one village, it could be said they were looking for power but with all of them working together and no help from the hidden leaf… It could only be one group, the Daimyos.
I told Hashirama they were the true threat but he didn’t believe me! As my people died, the legacy we built I could only let a single tear drop down my cheek as I kept fighting. Fighting to protect our legacy which was being stolen by someone right behind my back. I barely managed to get my sword up to block a gigantic fist. The sneer on my face fell away as I recognized the Raikage, which meant every single village but the leaf was here to get rid of us. We were all but doomed with that knowledge.

The loud explosions going off above put more unnecessary stress on the cave system I made. Thank god Granny Mito helped me bypass the formations beforehand or I’d have never made it here and built this underground bunker before the enemies attacked. Even still it was a close call, my sunken eyes an indicator of how tired I was from my effort.
Another baby started to cry as his relative clamped her hand down around his mouth. Her spikey red hair started to fade to white giving it a more pinkish hue. Most likely a grandmother, the real mother most likely dying above fighting. Most of who I saved were civilians, there were a few ninjas who were at least smart enough to not ask stupid questions until this was finally over. I knew my efforts wouldn’t go unnoticed, I just hoped they didn’t look too hard into it before I wiped out the daimyos.
