What an incredible way to wake up. My arms wrapped around the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in real life with a notification that I had gained beta access to the shop. I wonder when I cuddled next to her? Well, our skin contact and how close our faces are is going to do things to my body that I don’t think I can stop without actually injuring myself.

I broke our contact, which woke her up, but it was better than the alternative of my erection poking her awake. God she smelled good, I’ll have to mentally save that image of her face for later when I’m alone. I tried my best to hide how hard just the sight of her close to my face made me as I sat up facing away from her. Trying to play it off I mentioned. “I gained beta access to the shop.”

She sat up, her pink pajamas loosening over the course of the night allowing more skin to show through with the front open showing off her delicate body and cleavage, it catching on her moderate breasts was the only reason it hadn’t opened fully as she asked. “Oh? You see any good items?” She walked over to my side of the bed, tying her pajamas back tight involuntarily like she had done so a thousand times, and knew it would be loose and tightened it from habit.

I just kept staring at her only realizing that she asked me a question like five seconds ago when she sat down beside me and looked into my eyes… Fuck! What did she ask again? “Uhhh… I haven’t checked yet.”... Damnit brain! Why do you have to stutter and say stupid things when this pretty woman asks you questions? I looked forward and opened my menu.

We had learned that we couldn’t see each other's status screen unless the person was willing to share it and also touch the other person. As she placed her hand on my leg my erection grew to a painful level and if I wasn’t already squeezing it between my legs it would have popped up so fast it could have ripped through my sweatpants.

At the very least it would have been obvious I had grown hard from just a woman’s touch but that wasn’t a fair statement. I doubted I’d be hard from any other women in the group's touch except for Charlotte’s. My nose started to pick up the faint scent I smelled when I first woke up again. She asked almost dissapointedly. “This seems pretty underwhelming.” I looked around before I pointed it out. “Yeah, but this is the basic necessities tab. I bet the other tabs will have better items in them.” I bought the large-sized enhanced quality meal for five points for us to pick at but noticed it only removed four before I realized. “I get a 25% discount from my true helper title. I could afford the mansion when we decide where our base will go.”

Selecting the water made me feel like I had to have a storage vessel around. I doubted the 1000 gallons would because it came with a tank but I didn’t think I’d be able to buy it in this tiny room. The other tabs were entertainment which was solar-powered items you could purchase at Home Depot, recreational vehicles, and sports equipment. There were home bundles available for purchase that would automatically decorate the homes you could purchase in the necessities tab.

Clothing and beautification tab which was plain clothes and more expensive ones. Hundreds of choices and other items for self-grooming like razors, mirrors, make-up, and other items. There were also first aid kits in this section which I suggested be moved toward the necessities tab. I also convinced the system to award Charlotte with the helper title so she could make suggestions as well.

Weapons and armor tab which had weapons and armor along with home bundles for defense and vehicle bundles for armoring vehicles. Bundles for cars, trucks, and dozens of other options all increase in size and quality with altering values corresponding to the perceived value. So far the mansion was still the most expensive purchase.

The final tab was miscellaneous items. Hundreds, if not thousands of almost random items all with differing values ranging from 1 to 50 ZKP. A screwdriver went for 1 ZKP while a mechanics toolbox with dozens of tools and attachments went for 10 ZKP. The 50 ZKP purchase wasn’t even that important but was placed because of the value the item had before the zombie apocalypse. It was a Rolex watch. So twenty Rolex’s was equivalent to a mansion in price.

I pointed that out and the price was adjusted down to 25 for a Rolex. A Rolex for the same price of five high-quality meals seems crazy until you realize you can’t eat a Rolex. Even now I wouldn’t purchase one but the price was much closer to its actual value. I just hope no one wasted their ZKP on such a useless item. Everything seemed fine but it felt like it was missing something. “System, why aren’t there any stat-enhancing items or equipment?”
