Mei-Mei was my first cultivation partner. She had no clan name so everyone knew her as Mei-Mei and that was it. If she joined a clan her last name would shift to that name and if she made her own family in the clan her last name would shift again. So if she joined the Cloudy sect and their clan name was Ozoki, she would become Ozoki Mei-Mei. If she joined or created a family inside the clan her last name would change to her family name.

If someone in her friend circle was also named Mei-Mei, she would have been given a modifier depending on an aspect of herself. This was normally her outward appearance. If she was less beautiful than the other Mei-Mei she could be labeled as Hag Mei-Mei while the more beautiful one would be called Beauty Mei-Mei. Fatty Wei gave himself the modifier and that was another thing people sometimes did.

Mei-Mei didn’t have a modifier thankfully but if she did… Above average. Fair Mei-Mei, she wasn’t a ten out of ten jade beauty but she was certainly beautiful compared to normal people and above average compared to cultivators. Her slow growth had done her plenty of favors as it allowed her body to fill out more than most who would reach the higher ranks of qi condensation before she hit the perfect level of cuteness and refined beauty.

I knocked on her door as I was bringing her the monthly pills that I would normally bring her. Today was the day when this body was no longer a virgin, I waited until I was happy with my appearance, and the gigantic difference between myself and my previous life would have you thinking we were two completely separate people. Making my way inside and noticed the feng shui had been disrupted.

She moved one of the braziers and had most likely stopped burning incense at it in her cultivation room. It wasn’t that big of a deal but it would slowly reduce the bonus to her cultivation speed and perhaps even start to slow it down as the harmonious elements became disharmonious and could cause her to absorb elements at different rates and since she was a true neutral and could absorb any element it would cause an imbalance that her body would dispel.

As I move it back into place she frowns. “It stinks.” I pinched the bridge of my nose as I explained again. “It’s cultivation incense of course it doesn’t smell good. It’s supposed to speed up your cultivation speed when burned and by not burning it you disrupt the elemental balance in the room… That isn’t important though, my master said I had improved my body enough that I can finally begin dual cultivation with you.”

She looked surprised at first as I had been helping her for over a year already without asking for anything in return. Her brain was probably thinking that if she performed badly she could lose the benefits she was getting from my ‘master’. I didn’t want her for her body but for her compatible spiritual root. True neutral was rare and she passed my level of beauty which was a high set bar.

I began filling out her bedroom with feng shui making it more harmonious as I placed a dual cultivation array under the bed that would speed up the process even further. I had taught her the better cultivation method and while it took her ten years of almost constant cultivation to reach rank five. She was already rank seven in just a year of cultivating.

She lay on the bed waiting for me as I decided to start off slow and without any fancy cultivation techniques to improve our cultivation speed or pleasure. It would most likely overwhelm her if I showed her even half the things I learned about dual cultivation in my previous life. Even as a lower rank, our strengths were very similar. She might have been a tad bit stronger than me but most of her strength came from the qi inside her body.

Beautiful black hair and a perfectly set face. She had no outright impurities visible on her body and I could see the improved effects of the pills I had been feeding her. She was only a rank seven but could fight on par with a rank eight, possibly even beat them if it was a fight to the death. No fat and a little on the skinny side with only moderately sized breasts but I really only cared for her face. She was conventionally attractive before and had only gotten even more beautiful with my help.

I connect us in the very basic dual cultivation position. I was on top of her with her legs wrapped around me while we held hands and tried to make as much contact as possible as we rubbed our bodies and qi’s against each other. It just wasn’t fair to her. I had centuries of experience and it showed. I couldn’t help but bring her to orgasm over and over again.

Her body was already covered in sweat as I felt my cultivation rapidly improve. I was solo cultivating while dual cultivating at the same time which was thought to be impossible. My solo method was as fast as the fastest known method for true neutral roots and because of our perfectly in-sync spiritual roots, we were dual cultivating at a speed two or even three times faster than normal dual cultivation.

I was cultivating about four times faster than I ever had in my previous life as I felt my body almost bloat at the influx of qi. We could only dual cultivate for about twelve hours before we had to stop as I consolidated my gains and she recuperated from the amount of liquid she lost. I had heard of qi bloat but had never felt it before. We could only do this once a week at the moment as anymore and I could risk a qi deviation and she needed that long for her body to recover.

This method would be just about the same cultivation speed for her as solo cultivation but once I started using tricks we would both grow faster. I needed to get her to agree to sign a thrall contract before I would bring her in on my real plans. I wasn’t going to leave myself open to betrayal ever again and while she seemed trustworthy who knew how she would feel in a decade or century?

Thrall slave seals were thought to be part of demonic cultivation as it would make it impossible for the person under the effect to betray the owner. It was a method that the emperor used in the past, that some of his allies still have on them but had been made illegal once he had used them to become the emperor. I had only found the method as a fluke and learned it on a whim so I’d be able to see if any of my allies had been affected by the seals in my previous life.

Now I was going to use them on my own concubines so that the secrets I’d give them would never be leaked and they would never betray me and attempt to rip my cultivation out of my body while we dual cultivated. I let her recover as we got into a routine of having sex and recovering separately as I rapidly improved. In less than two years Li Chunhua will join the sect. I needed to be ready for her before she joined.
