IM/DC Bonus Chapter 25 (Patreon)

The hero team Payback was sick of it. Their leader treated them like garbage, not only were they relegated to background fame, their leader pushing them to the back, but they also had to deal with his constant insults, physical attacks, and demeaning jobs he’d give them. They were going to kill Soldier Boy… If not kill him, at least take him out of the picture.
That was why all of them were afraid when Soldier Boy asked them to all come in for a meeting. Did he know? Vaught wanted him gone, but was it all of Vaught, did someone warn him about the plan to get rid of him? He sat there so calmly though. If he knew then he would be more angry with them. Subterfuge isn’t something that Soldier Boy did.
He waited for the group to sit down, gave them a big smile then spoke. Except it wasn’t him, it looked like him but slightly… Off. He was slightly taller, more muscular, and somehow more handsome. He had a clean-shaven face and he didn’t have that ‘on drugs’ look in his eyes. “I am not Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy is dead. All hail the new Soldier Boy.”
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
I smiled at their confused looks. To them, I was Soldier Boy. Well, the actor Jensen Ackles played Soldier Boy, but still, I was Soldier Boy to them. They couldn’t understand what I said until I explained it. “I’m not from this universe… Think of me like a hermit crab, bouncing from universe to universe for fun. I thought that I’d jump in as one of my favorites of the show and do things right this time around.”
No one knew what to say next. They sat in silence for about thirty seconds, waiting for me to do something before the TNT twins both spoke at the same time. “You’re fucking with us aren’t you?” “You know we’re here to take you down…” I could only laugh. “You’re more than welcome to try it but it won't end the way you think it will. I could also just show you pr-.”
“TNT! Detonate!” The wave of plasma crashes off me like a wave on the shore. I show no sign that it affected me as I smile back at them. “You done?” Black Noir jumps up and punches me. His punches were completely ineffective as I explained. “I’m moving with your punches so you don’t break your hand, you’re not actually moving my-.”
Another interruption as Mindstorm attempts to mind whammy me. He’s sent flying back from the sheer backlash of his mental powers rebounding back on himself. I think that’s all they’re going to do, but even the Crimson Countess who moved behind me and began to massage my shoulders attempted to knock me out with a drug mask.
“I don’t need to breathe and even if I did this wouldn’t affect me… Are we done now?” It was clear that while I took on his appearance, even the enhanced version I created which was even more attractive, my charisma was dropped down lower than it had been for years. I drop the alterations I made to myself while teleporting Soldier Boy’s corpse out of my storage and onto the floor.
“If you need more proof. I can bring his shield out as well.”
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Decades passed in this timeline. Soldier Boy lived a normal life making many small changes that no one would notice. Only people outside who could look at the whole picture would see the changes he made. A car crash here, a heart attack there, many women suddenly becoming more beautiful and less promiscuous around him… Vaught had done well under his new leadership after the previous leadership died in freak accidents. Before he could take over, a terrorist attack happened out of nowhere and Soldier Boy sacrificed himself to save lives… At least, that’s what was told to the public.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
“God, it feels good to drop acting like a different person. Especially limiting my powers to keep up the act. I for sure thought people would find me out but I guess people didn’t really know the real Soldier Boy and my shifting attitude was just seen as growing wise with age.” Madelyn bobbed up and down on my cock as I more talked to myself than her.
I looked over at my assistant as I asked. “What news you got for me, Jessica?” She flipped through papers more of a show than anything. I knew she had an almost identic memory but downplayed her intelligence as it was offputting to most men. Deliciously chocolaty skin, she had been wearing less and less as the days went on as we played the game to see how long it would take to get her to attempt to seduce me.
“The creation of the hero team The Seven is well underway. After taking in your suggestions we finally have a roster.” She hands me a paper and I read the names of the heroes… Or, mostly heroines that were on the list. Liberty had a daughter with Soldier Boy in this timeline. Stormfront was everything her father and mother were and more. After she had the test tube baby with Soldier Boy, I made sure Liberty learned the error of her ways through constant ‘lessons’.
Victoria Neuman was never adopted by Stan Edgar. She was a real-deal hero in this timeline going by the name Psyshock. Queen Maeve was also one of the founding members, she hadn’t been beaten down becoming jaded with the entire job because of Homelander. Black Noir, or his daughter rather after the original had a much more successful movie career than he did compared to the timeline where he gets his head crushed.
Miss Marathon and Mother Ocean(The Deep) were two more female versions of male heroes. In this timeline far more female heroes were created than male ones, there were still some but most were women. Last but not least was Homelander. He was of course the biggest pull of the team and the only male member.
I couldn’t help but be proud. He was so much different than the Homelander in the show. Smart, kind, brave, and even more powerful than he had any right to. He was my son between me and a much younger Madelyn Stillwell. He was really the closest thing to a Superman that could exist on Earth. I wanted him to be like me… Except better, not as evil, still with hope in humanity.
I had done my job, given him all the tools required to make the most of his situation, and handed off the keys to Vaught after putting people in place that it’ll thrive with or without his input. I was happy with how this turned out, but still wanted to see where it would go now that I handed the wheel to someone else. I had been gifted a second chance and I felt the need to pass it on to someone else. Perhaps in this timeline, Homelander won’t be such a dick, but as I left the universe taking a few women with me I couldn’t help but hope everything worked out for my son in this universe.
