Sun Wu- Protagonist. He was reborn after reaching the Nascent Soul realm and being betrayed. In his betrayal, he uses a thought to be useless support-type move to send his newborn soul back in time to where his cultivation journey began. He has the knowledge of his original life, with centuries of learning to choose the best path in his second life.

Knows hundreds of techniques for most elements and many techniques for the more rare elements as well. Can make an accurate guess on what may happen based on what did happen in his original world. Has centuries of mastering alchemy and formations and knows enough about blacksmithing and making treasure items that fakes won’t fool him.

Mei-Mei- First wife. Clanless has above average beauty who had her beauty improved to almost peerless jade beauty by the protagonist. Dark black hair and pure white skin. Her lackluster cultivation left her struggling to rank up until the protagonist decided to help her. She is above average in terms of fighting but can’t fight above her own cultivation realm like many of the other characters.

Her fire and lightning affinity made her one of the better fighters for her cultivation level.

Lightning feet technique- Apply a film of lightning to your feet to speed up movement. Movement becomes more costly and erratic the longer you go in a single direction. She found a solution to the problem by moving in a zig-zag pattern.

Fire breath- Breath out fire from her mouth. It is a costly technique that drains fire qi in the body rapidly but is extremely destructive to anyone struck by it.

Lightning bolt- Fire a lightning bolt from hand at a target.

Lightning blade- Apply a layer of lightning to a weapon.

Lightning body- Temporarily transforms body into lightning.

Fatty Wei- Friend and bodyguard of the protagonist. The protagonist uses him as another layer of defense as most people wouldn’t assume the person with a bodyguard is stronger than the bodyguard. He has a cheery attitude with a fat body that many of his techniques are based around. His techniques are heavily defensive unless he uses his fat burning technique; then he can fight on par with someone higher ranking than himself.

Iron belly body- A body that lets a person take less damage. The body tends to put on weight more easily than other body types.

Fat burning technique- Burn stored fat to increase fighting capabilities.

Bai Bao- Bodyguard of wives and concubines. A country bumpkin who most likely quit cultivating or died before she became famous. Tall with a large, manly frame and plain face. She has a special bloodline that only activates when she reaches the core formation realm. Even with the protagonist's help, she still might die from old age before reaching core formation.

Mid, almost halfway to high, after consuming pills

Phoenix bloodline- Once the person reaches core formation, their body will undergo a transformation, making them more beautiful, possibly resetting their age and giving them a peak spiritual root with a one hundred percent affinity with fire.

Li Chunhua- The female cultivator who betrays the protagonist in his first life. Has yet to become a cultivator. The protagonist is still preparing for her to join so he can take his revenge. A fire cultivator with a high spiritual root and a ninety percent affinity with fire. She uses her beauty as a weapon. She is a vain person who consumed pills that would allow her to become more beautiful, but at the cost of some of her fire affinity in her first life.

Emo Shuaige- The oldest betrayer. He is currently a high-ranking member of the inner core who is climbing the ranks. His betrayal of one of the core formation cultivators of the sect is what most likely caused its collapse in the first timeline. He has a high spiritual root with a ninety percent affinity with wood and metal. With a fierce appearance, he still retains the handsomeness of his youth even after centuries of life.

Huang Jingyu- The youngest betrayer. Hasn’t been born yet and won't be for decades. He often stole the cultivation from his lovers, which was thought to be demonic, but the protagonist didn’t do anything about it because the other betrayers talked him out of it. He had many, many children in the first timeline. He has a peak spiritual root and a one hundred percent water affinity.

The sect stealing treasure found during the hidden realm- The protagonist wants to steal the treasures himself, so he’ll be following the person who finds the treasure in the original timeline before she’s slain after leaving the hidden realm.

Li Chunhua joins the sect- The protagonist has patiently been waiting to finally take his revenge on the first target

This is all the protagonist has talked about so far, but he knows the big things that will happen over the next several centuries, and maybe he’ll remember some of the smaller things that happened as well, but he only cares about getting his revenge at the moment.
