A dozen of my most stealthy men and I moved through the alleyways leading to the castle near Casterly Rock. We were going to try to sneak into the privy where we’d wait for Tywin to appear. There, I’d have a little talk with him before killing him. He was far too influential a player to leave alive in my eyes, the biggest threat, including the king, in terms of ruining my plans.

Solving Varys and Littlefinger would be nothing. The moment they left the castle, a ‘beggar’ could approach them and bury a dagger in their stomach before anyone was even aware, and that was just one method to deal with them. Tywin was separated from the capital, and only with his death would I feel safe pulling Cersei to my side.

I put my front against the wall next to another one of my men as the rest climbed up us to make a human pyramid to reach the top of the wall. The guards barely paid any attention; we were more likely to be spotted by a scullery maid washing clothes or a noble living inside the castle. One guard patrolled the top of the castle walls, maybe once every fifteen minutes, but often they forgo it to stay inside.

It was barely night, and we only knew that Tywin stayed awake through multiple spies we had around him. He was one of the few people guarded enough to need direct interference, because sending a child or female assassin was likely to fail, and it would alert him to someone trying to kill him. He was smart enough to put two and two together, as the person who wanted him dead may have also wanted the Maesters dead, and through some digging, he’d find out it was me.

I made no attempt to hide that it was me, because it was a trap laid for the Spider. If he reported that I was the one who killed them to Robert, I could flip it completely around and entrap him while making myself look better. I looked down into the open doors of the kitchen. Poisoning him was also off the table, that was why I decided to go with the method that proved effective in the show, killing him while he was shitting.

My breath hitched at the sight as one of the most beautiful women entered my eyesight. She talked to one of the maids before the maid left my view and came back with a slice of bread and butter before handing it to her. She made quick work, devouring it while she did a little dance from consuming the piece. Wiping the crumbs off her face before hugging the maid and heading back inside.

I was so taken aback by her beauty that I gave up on killing Tywin at the moment. I needed to meet her first. Tyrion mentioned another sister, but I didn’t expect her to be even more beautiful than Cersei. The question now was… Who was she really?

Rykki’s Point of View

I made my way into town, as it was one of the few things I was allowed to do. I hated that I had to do it while under guard, but it made sense. I was too cute in this universe after all, only men truly loyal to my father could be trusted to protect me without getting any ideas.

Greeting many of the women as I walked passed, I was acquainted with most of the vendors I came across. I was excited, as many of these flourishing businesses were my ideas. Many new and interesting things were happening in Lannisport, and the increase in popularity as many new things came about because of me wouldn’t be discovered for decades, possibly not until some business-savvy entrepreneur moves my ideas elsewhere would it be discovered.

The main focus of businesses was food. There was a burger vendor, a taco vendor, and a sushi seller now; all businesses did well, but the real money makers were high-end luxury goods like clothing, heels, make-up, and purses. Many of the nearby nobility would come here just to visit my shop to buy name-day presents for their wives or daughters.

Today I was craving pizza, so that’s where we were headed. It was one of the only food vendors that had a building right now. It would still be hundreds of years until pizza was perfected as much as it was in our previous world, but any pizza was better than no pizza. My guards sat down because it made no sense for me to order an entire pizza for myself.

As we sat down and waited for the pizza to finish cooking. A man with a dozen men came into the building, and I couldn’t help but feel my heart flutter, because I somewhat recognized him. I couldn’t help but smile as my hands went to my hips. “It took you long enough to find me.”

She looked at me as if she knew me, but I couldn’t tell who she was for the life of me. “It took you long enough to find me.” Still confused, I asked. “Umm… Who are you exactly?” She looked at me, confused now as her eyebrows rose. “You really don’t know? I’m Rick.” My heart stopped for a moment as my mouth spoke before my brain could register what I was saying.

“Rick is a guy.” She smiled at me like the cat that caught the canary. “I used a voice changer, dumbass. I think you might be one of the only few in our Discord that didn’t figure it out.” I stared at her, dumbfounded, once again speaking as if we were having a normal one of our conversations. “Why pretend to be a man for years?” It didn’t make sense to me until she just stared deadpan before asking the question back at me.

“Why would a female who gets harassed constantly, and has all of her friendships ended because guys fight over her, even over the mic, pretend to be a man? I wonder why.” Things still didn’t add up. “You’ve sent pictures of yourself.” “Nope, those were fake guy filtered as well.” “I’ve talked to you face-to-face in video calls before.” “No, you talked to my brother for one of them, which didn’t look anything like the picture I posted or sound like my fake voice the first time, then to me after I got the AI equipment sorted out to fake everything.”

I felt tricked. I thought we were friends, good friends, but she pretended to be a man the entire time. It felt fake. She saw it in my face as she explained. “It… I didn’t want it to be this way. I just… Pretended to be a man so long that I couldn’t stop being one. I thought I’d hurt your feelings, so just… Never told you. I talked to Vincent and your sister about it, but neither of them understood why I couldn’t just come out as a woman after so long.”

It still didn’t make sense to me. My brain worked overtime and all it could come up with was. “What!? You fucking catfished your best god damn friend for years because you thought it would be weird that you were a girl? Are you a fucking idiot?”
