Know a few questions and comments on this little beastie!!

He's only sold in the US/Canada to my knowledge - I had to smuggle two of him out of the country in the dead of night whilst everyone was busy throwing boxes of tea into the water..... ;)

He's not perfect (eg he can't get in-between denser beds of vegetables and plants to weed), but a great little idea - weed whacker on the bottom to kill weeds, wheel to till the soil, solar panel to power.

He reminds me of the very first Roombas - not super smart, but bounces around and uses sheer repetition to keep the weeds down.

Check him out here if you fancy a nosey!

Very interesting. It's a great way of keeping things organic if its durable. It's probably good for gardeners with ADHD like me, on many different levels, including the novelty of tech gadgets and staying on top of garden weeding. Thank you for sharing.

A pleasure - yes, they're in their second season now, and have survived the Scottish winter, so pretty tough I'd say. I really like the 'balancing' effect - ie as they're solar powered, they weed more furiously as plants grow more furiously! As I say, they definitely aren't a 'solve all', but they definitely are an interesting device.... but if you like this, then something even more interesting just arrived........ I'll post photos at the weekend when I get a chance! (I'm SUPER excited about it)!

Excellent.

If I had a garden, it would certainly have one of these. Maybe next year. Summer's over here in the mountains of Colorado as well.
