Some women go to the shops for clothes, this one uses lasers!

I've been testing out the xTool F2 Ultra's metal carving abilities, my trusty xTool P2's fabric cutting skills and the DTF's ability to overlay pre-cut patterns. You can get a glimpse of where the world of clothes crafting is going in the next decade.... and it's pretty awesome!

Now the end result may be a disaster, but that may be more my skills rather than the tools....!

I’m guessing that the F2 is so tall to reduce the off-centre cutting angle?

That's a great point actually - it'd certainly have that effect. I assumed it's partly due to the MOPA laser needing more space. The whole device is much more solid than the F1 Ultra. The former is brilliant, so it was never a problem as such, but this undoubtedly feels more solid.
