Hachiman has always been such a fascinating character. His perspective is different from the typical romcom mc but it still is very human and understandable. As much as he is a self proclaimed loner who doesn't care about others, his actions and inner thoughts say otherwise. His standoffish perception of Yui as a "nice girl" and idealised admiration of Yukino as a girl incapable of deceiving or lying says so much about what he wants deep down. He just wants someone who is true and doesn't deceive him or lead him on with false facades. Which is funny considering that seems to be exactly what Yukino's sister is. But we don't like her.

Just wanted to say. Your prompt of "What anime do you think of when you see Culture Festival Fireworks in anime?"... Kaguya-sama. Every single time. Season 1's finale is just... beautiful and sad.

Don't feel like you have to apologize for disliking Haruno's way of talking... I actually dislike her the most of all side characters. Half of the complications that arrive in this show I feel like are at least 30 - 50% her fault.
