Idk who I hate more... Sagami with her shitty personality, or her 2 friends who just keep laughing and nodding in the back, who doesn't even have their own personalities, and just agree with the shitty one.

I only caught on to this recently after rewatching the series multiple times. if you actually just look at the order of events and try to keep in mind that this show is from the perspective of an unreliable narrator, it becomes very clear that Yukino is actually just as much at fault for the situation getting out of hand as Sagami, if not even a bit more.

I have watched this show at least two dozen times and only picked up on it recently so I don't blame you for not making the connection, but Yukino is just as much at fault for the situation getting out of hand as Sagami is, maybe even more. You need to keep in mind that Hachiman is an incredibly biased and unreliable narrator so how the show frames events can be off. Sagami isn't trying to annoy Yukino just because she is jealous, Yukino actively humiliated Sagami in front of the entire comity during that first meeting. It was basically just one gigantic insult. That's why Hiratsuka-sensei had a disapproving/worried look on her face during that meeting. Keep in mind that the LNs are written in first person from Hachiman's POV and Sagami represents the type of person he has the strongest bias against. Everything Sagami does gets presented in the most negative possible light and every flaw she has gets exaggerated. It's easy to let the presentation sway your opinion, when just looking at the events as they happen would really paint a different picture. For example, Sagami did not originally intend to just push all of the work onto Yukino. She started the first comity meeting herself and was on time for it. For all we know, her intentions were sincere and she really wanted to be the chair. There is no evidence presented in the show to suggest otherwise. It's only AFTER Yukino publically humiliated her in front of 50+ people that she starts to not care anymore, a bit in the vein of 'If you are so much better than me, then just do it yourself'. What Yukino should have done, as the support to Sagami as Sagami had requested, was to wait until the meeting was over and then bring up the issues to Sagami in private. That would be more in line with Yukino's idea of how to conduct the service club in the first place. Don't give her a fish, but teach her how to catch them herself. But Yukino's personal issues about her sister undermined that. I also want to point this out now because this dichotomy stay's relevant throughout the show. Oregairu is actually very good at stuff like this. It's one of the view stories where the 'unreliable narrator' actually means something and you actually have to pay attantion to the difference between how people are presented, and the actions they actually take.

I honestly don't think Yukino humiliated Sagami there, and she couldn't point what was wrong after. They were behind the schedule. When something like that happens, in the middle of a meeting, you don't wait for the meeting to end to then tell the person that the job was still incomplete and that you are behind schedule. You need to do it right there and fix it, specially when you are behind schedule. If she waited to tell Sagami after, what would happen? The ppl in charge of the job would think it's all fine, wouldn't take more action, then they would be informed that they are behind schedule only in the next reunion, when things were even further behind schedule. It would be worse for everyone. Could even be worse for Sagami if things got out of hand.

With a character like Sagami, a downfall is this time, high school 2nd year, would be the best thing all around. It would let her learn from the failure, without any severe long-term harm. So, yeah, root for cumuppence.

You really have to love and hate the moment Sagami hands the "Chairwoman Stamp" to Yukino and publicly delegated the responsibility to her. It was at this moment that everyone in the room as a witness went from "Yukino SHOULD be the chairwoman" (what they said during the initial meet) to "Yukino IS the chairwoman and Sagami's taking all the credit" Love because you can tell everyone in that room is actually on Yukino's side. Hate because you know not a single one of them is going to do a damn thing to fix the really messed up thing going on here.
