Another Hikki self-sacrifice

Comments

ghosty

I love hikkiguys character he always sacrifices the things he cares abt for the people he cares abt even if it hurts him or the people he cares abt it's always to help them

Aira

One of my favorite episodes of the series. I really like that the facade everyone is hiding behind is starting to crack and we’re starting to see behind the surface.

Pedro Lobo

This episode shows perfectly that the teacher was right at the end of season 1. Hikigaya is used to the pain, but he doesn't realize that there are ppl who get hurt when they watch him hurt himself.

I personally absolutely love Hina's charater and the kinda low self esteem hidden behind a mask. But the mask is just another version of herself it shows that even people with friends and happiness also have problems internally. As well as, the constant struggle to fight change its the most human thing about this show...

I always thought this was an overreaction by Yukino and Yui. His confession was fake and everyone but Tobe knew that. He solved the problem in a way that protected everyone in the Hayato group and Hachiman didn’t lower his reputation, right? Maybe I missed something.

The rug-pull on Tobe is the big issue. Outside of Yui, Yukino, Hayato and Hina, the Hachiman's "confession" was real, and a scum move. It could lead to all of their classmates resenting him, rather than just thinking he was weird. He doesn't understand that his self destructive solutions upset those who care about him. That's what is upsetting Yui and Yukino.

This episode was what cemented me to really like Oregairu as a series wayy back then. It just getting better.

I know i am coming off as a hater, but Hayato still bugs me how he does things. He doesnt want to hurt his friends so he cant make a decision but willingly lets Hikki hurt himself even tho he knows its detrimental to Hikki. There was a way Hayato could of naturally got those words out of Hina, for Tobe to hear and understand its not the right time to ask and risk the group dynamic. But this is by far my fav episode so far, I think it might be because this episode is so relatable and more than likely happened to our friend groups during school.

I also really recommend "More than a Married Couple, but not lovers"

Spider-Skull Island

Kawasaki makes a small move in the beginning but is too scared to keep hanging on 8man’s shoulder.
