That's 100 Girlfriends all wrapped up! Let's hope we don't have to wait years for Season 3! We did rank all the GF in this one so let us know who your faves were as well! Honestly this has probably been our most unhinged show but I think we're gonna miss it in our weekly rotation 😂 Rentaro family ❤️

P.S. Rentaro breathe brother 😂

My Rankings (I am a Manga Reader and I am up to like GF 22-23 somewhere in that area. Season 3 is going to be just as WILD as this one was once they announce and release it.)

TRB

It’s a shame that a few chapters were skipped the biggest being Mei and Rentarou’s date. So its much harder for anime watchers to connect with a few characters.

I've been reading the manga up to this point now and it's amazing how much content they cut. The problem with this is that those who only watch the anime won't see certain characters develop properly.

For me, the ranking would be: Hakari > Hahari > Nano > Shizuka > Kusuri > Karane >Meme > Iku > Mei > Mimimi > Kurumi. Design plays a part; some characters are definitely more my type physically, but this order is actually more personality-based, too. The order would stay roughly the same. Karane is cute, but tsundere's to me NEED to soften up. The original 3 big tsundere names in anime were Louise from Zero no Tsukaima, Shana from Shakugan no Shana, and Taiga from Toradora. It's pretty much been a standard in anime that they soften out eventually. I know this show doesn't take itself too seriously, nor do I take it that seriously - but I just feel like Karane as an individual would make one of the worst girlfriends here. I definitely prefer women who have a softer personality. For anime you've seen, these would be: Yamada Anna from Danger in My Heart, Rem from Re Zero. Then I have two medium-high interests, these are often characters who are a bit more flirty but secretly have some self-doubts and such - Mitsuri from Demon Slayer, Marin from Dress Up Darling. Medium tier is tomboyish women but not extreme, I'm talking Winry from FMAB, Katara from Avatar TLA. My bottom tier (but still good) would be characters like Karane, who have an affectionate side, but I think having a girlfriend like that would drag on after a while, probably (funnily enough) much more tolerable in a polygynous relationship to offset the attitude. Overall, I will say I like every girl except Kurumi. I think Kurumi's design is one of the least "for me"; they gave her the most extreme tomboy design, but the design made me think she was a gamer girl. Instead, they went for foodie? Cool, but the design does not say foodie to me in any way. The rest of the characters, you could easily guess some or a lot of their personalities. I still don't dislike her enough to say "revamp or remove" her, I just think she's naturally gonna stay as a back runner for me even towards the 100 mark. Overall, the season 1 cast is infinitely stronger, but that's to be expected. We've had more time with them, and that will likely never change. There are some ideas I have for characters to join top positions for me in the future, but I'll just wait for season 3 next year and decide if the newer girlfriends or newest (s3 ones) are changed. (Edit - I am considering Kusuri to be in her real form, this small form I think is mostly to even out the small vs mature characters and also for the gag. I do wish she was in her big form most of the time and the small form for the drug gags, but not much you can do.)

The break between seasons was 1 year and 1 month, season 3 is next year
