He can copy the ones that the elder has shown them. If there was nothing blocking Azure's scanning ability, he could have copied it even if the tome was closed

Lovely. The next when the blue sun attacking, he might be able to sneak up to blue sun camp, pretending he is being captured and survived. Hopefullye get some rune that is able to mix blue and red sun energy.

Fun stuff but, I feel you lean a bit too hard on the ‘elder presents a rune, MC spots an unmentioned one. “What about this tatty one in the corner?”’ It was how he found world tree sutra as well. I realise it’s a staple of cultivation stories though! TFTC!

Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I've rewritten how he found the overclocked rune. As for the Rootform rune next chapter, that's more intentional and the reason he noticed it ties in to a plot point.
