I still really want him to absorb it and help out the world .. It makes sense with his cultivation method that allows things to happen more naturally instead of forced. Maybe if he bonds with the spiritual bond thing with their world spirit? Like he did with iggy

He should have took to an extra star considering they need him more than he needs them. And cultivator should have a naturally greed personality. And it won't kill them for him to do so.

I think he needs to bond with the trees supporting the world themselves. They have a sentience/sapience of their own. If they choose to root in our heroes world, what can the world spirit do but acquiesce?

While I nice idea, I'd like it even better if Han Renyi eventually took it over, and Ke Yin was just a caretaker. Alternatively Ke Yin does end up annexing it, but guides Han Renyi until he can create his own world.
