Well that’s interesting you know I knew there had to be someone that both had a cerulean vein and was a natural someone like that would be something else I imagine back in the days of harmony people made use of both power systems some more talented in one than the other but they also combined the energy to truly step forward on the path I imagine back in the day it was quite common for students to travel from one academy to the other learning of both paths but yeah back the the real talents were the extra ordinary people born with natural talent for both suns while those born with only one talent were a step above but the cultivation of the other path slowed em down so eventually someone with monstrous talent in one path but abysmal talent in the other said fuck it and completely ignored the other path and only progressed on one until that became the norm and because of the mind altering effects of the suns people went crazy and eventually it became this holy war of course this probably had the side benefit of expanding the abilities of the single paths to the farthest extremes possible without the use of the other sun which might allow explosive growth of the purple sun path when the two academies finally share their teachings with each other on one of these loops

So just a question but would he be able to form a sorta soul bond like he has with Yiggy? It will need to be modified but if done right she would be pulled into the loop too so they don’t lose any romantic progress

I mean Mc has very much gave the game with him talking like a philosopher for a good portion of the conversation. Then goes on about the red and blue being harmonic. It’s just stupidly obvious and he might as well give a convincing argument as while villagers aren’t exactly known for being enlightened but instead ignorant as they are more isolated. Which is compounded when they are young and are expected to have a negative view of the red sun due to negative perception. Especially when their whole village just got slaughter by those using the red sun. So it makes no sense for Mc to believe he’s still under the radar at all. TL;DR: Why does Ke Yin think everyone can’t see through his horrendous disguise while acting in an extremely suspicious manner?

Wasn't that the original use of the soulbond anyway? Some kind of united lovers technique or whatever that he re-purposed into working with Yggy.

Things would probably have to get *really* serious between them for him to consider using it. And well... Who knows, the story has already made a precedent of technically keeping to tropes while also still deconstructing them and avoiding their worst interpretations. Like when he confronted that one protagonist sword saint dude who wanted to kill him and got to agree to just a regular non-death duel. Anything could happen ;)

The more I see of Laelyn, the more I want to see more of her. It's nice seeing genuinely good people in this kind of story, or any story for that matter. I hope she has a chance to get to know Ke Yin instead of Tomas at some point where she can remember it going forward.

I don't know why but this is just hard to read. Please learn how to actually write a paragraph.
