I'm also very in favor of option three. Also it would be very interesting to see two loopers working together. Especially since Tomas can go places Kal can't without a fight, at least I assume so.

You know I've been thinking about this. The MC only really has this one loop to figure out whether or not he can trust Kal. Because after the loop resets, if he comes back to the academy and doesn't win the selection....Kal knows somethings up as he dramatically outclassed everyone. If he does come back and wins the selection that's a non-butterfly effect significant change to the timeline that Kal didn't cause and he knows somethings up. He either has to convince or trick Kal into altering the loops conditions himself to ensure "Tomas" arrives or it's one and done for X random loops before coming back to the blue sun academy. I suppose he could go back to the red sun for a while but that wouldn't be making progress

How does MC know that he must strengthen the barriers instead of weakening them? We know because of the previous Saint's perspective. When did MC learn this?
