What the he’s absolutely Wu like that’s not a question anymore Ke yin has never used a sword so he HAS to be Wu but what in the world has this guy thinking that he doesn’t have any talent for the sword

Unless the realm has the fun feature of making you live a life similar to your adversary (though that seems contrary to the instruction given of it making you remember your life and name), it must be Wu.

I am so certain it is Wu, because if it had been Ke Yin would the world really be able to suppress him, as a world tree sutra cultivator and world walker, from incorporating and utilizing the energy of this realm? I even if it did it doesn’t really make sense for it to be to this extent. Plus that soul deep resonance with a blade, and him likely subconsciously trying to perform moves only someone with early 2nd stage cultivation could reasonably perform as a normal base mortal with no real idea on what he’s trying to imitate? He might be bad to the teacher here because he subconsciously wants to use higher order martial arts. And wasn’t Wu Kangming’s style basically all about variability? Like it’s not a style actually grounded in formal appearing technique, and wasn’t it always described in a light style? Killing a elephant with a blade of grass kinda style? I might be wrong, I’d have to reread the few scenes of him fighting to refresh my memory, but I truly believe this is WKM and his style viewed through the lens of instinct and lacking understanding is very likely to look like a mess.

Maybe, but I feel like Ke Yin would be able to use the dream cultivation. For several reasons I put in a paragraph.

Ke Yin and I bet the missing piece is the genesis seed. Wu had too much skill to perform this badly. But Tian has demonstrated martial arts similar to Ke Yin.
