I was going to comment on a possible dark fate/trope for Moon and her cubs but I don’t want to jinx it.

Still think by the end of this fight Ke yin will break through to elemental realm thus making the grand prize useless to him. Depending on if Wu finds himself before the fight ends he too could reach elemental realm level and the prize would go to third place, and with our merchant friend out of commission do to the corruption and having part of his cultivation ripped out would default to the mirror sword guy. He’d then feel like he doesn’t deserve it because he didn’t earn it and either has to be convinced by his brother to take it and prove he was worthy of this investment, or give it to some even further down the chain thus marking this competition as the weirdest in the sects history. 😂
