So is the connection stable and he is just hiding it or did it fail. I would think that the fact he could still absorb the red and blue sun energy means he is still connected to the Genesis seed. A stable connection absolutely means he will take dream qi with him when he leaves

At first I thought that Hou should tell Elder Lu at least a little bit about what was going on, but then I realized that would be a stupid idea. Even if he trusted Elder Lu enough to do that, there are still the sect members watching things, and he certainly doesn't want them learning about what he did.

But they were able to see the sun energy probably since elder lu could see it. So they definitely know he did something

I think with this method he will be able to connect to all the realms he visited, and make friend. I think the temple had “thrones” where the energy sits. I think they are meant to be thrones for the people he connected/possessed when he was visiting those realms. Du Yuanzi, etc…

You know, Hou still has a small part of WK inside him. He’s not fully Cain. I’m surprised that the Genesis seed didn’t detect that and absolutely suppress Hou the moment he entered Cain’s inner world. I’m guessing that after this dream world arc, the WK’s soul wisp will return to him and he’ll have partial memories of what Hou experienced including Cain’s inner world which is a great setup for a lifelong rival. Someone who knows Cain’s secret.

Hou didn’t go through all that his karma made it so he completely regained his memories after recovering from his injuries. It was Tian that that fell for the memory trap and know thinks he’s someone he isn’t. He also only saw a very curated set of memories that completely omitted any mention of Azure, the genesis seed, or world walking. So when the tournaments over Wu will gain some of Ke’s memories and feel closer to him but Ke will only have their shared experiences as Tian and Hou. That is if the Dream world doesn’t actively erase those implanted memories before they leave.

It has basically two functions if I'm correct: 1. Elevate Azure to full sentience and sapience, way before Ke Yin's Cultivation level should allow it. 2. Grant Ke Yin the ability to see Energy movements in fine detail.
