What a damn cliffhanger to wait for the next chapter :(

SparksBored

I feel like you said it would be resolved this week. 😅😂

lilcapt

That's a good ending to this arc

Summer Coff

Yeah, I wondered if Sleepy didn't have some thoughts about the World Tree Sutra, given his original master was probably killed by a master of it. But I'm not sure Sleepy realized the connection between the World Tree Sutra and the Realm Stabilizing Trees until now.

Via

The earth’s diameter is a little less under 8k miles. A hundred thousand kilometers is a hundred times the size of that. I don’t think Yin and the other guy are 100x planet busters lol.

Phoenixdrop

Oh dame Ke yin just accidentally made a realm stabilizing tree god imagine what he could do if he figured out how to make them on purpose you know without turning into one himself like he would immediately become the most important asset in the entire sect and let’s not even talk about trade in the life realm market like he could get whatever he wanted whenever he wanted and because of the anonymity he wouldn’t even have to worry about getting found out now selling in person that’s a bit more of a no go but hey this is still big but man imagine if he ends up making a actual forest of realm stabilization trees that would be insane but seeing how the world tree sutra is going yeah I can totally see that happening at some point

Benjamin Bickerstaff

Given the fact that all of the denizens of the Dream World are potential world walkers, it seems likely that the original master was at least very well acquainted with one as well. I don’t think that we’ve encountered another form of natural world walkers yet.

Benjamin Bickerstaff

I figure Ke Yin was the winner, maybe? It looks like there was enough of him left at the end to leave a mark on the Dream World.

Dragonarrow20

I think ke yin lost. The realm stabilizing tree ke yin has was made when the mimic of him died so it might have a similar process.

Karmaaaaaa

IdolTrust

So he left an anchor point to return back to and this is the best as fragments were removed from the world. I can imagine the power up when the fragments return to the main body. We might have a world first tie at first place.

Rina

I feel like Ke Yin won that bout, partially because of the karma, but mostly because he assured mutual distruction against an opponent who technically brought in outside help from someone much higher level than him. Because grandpa in a ring is not in fact a part of his cultivation base and will be Very cross with Wu Kangming later.

Gideon

A cliffhanger this big on a Friday is criminal 😭

Zeteri

I've never been so sad for the weekend 😞 Now I have to wait two days for the next chapter.

Zeteri

I think your theory holds the most water right now. Though I'm extremely surprised that Ke Yin seemingly lost 😔 Maybe seeing the insane potential for both participants they'll be deemed tie?

Nyroe

Ke Yin lost Scissors beats paper. ✂️>📜

Endgame

Not for nothing but I could swear that you said we would have our ending by today and now you give another cliffhanger for Friday without giving us the ending. Not cool. This is making me hate weekends.

Oreo

I feel like you drag the final fight too much it seems forced. Also continuous deliberate cliffhanger doesn’t make things better - they are annoying when used too much.

biloly

Any reason for Ke Yin to not use stellar qi here? He can't use it in his main body, and it'd be irresponsible to use it when possessing someone else's body, but this body's a throwaway.

Oop

AutumnLeaves

I like that Ke Yin left behind a Realm Stabilizing Tree. I wonder if the Sect Master knew he would.

John Cena

Once again, the mc is karma farming. Big rewards are coming up!

Luis Magana

I think not even Ke Yin knows he left a sapling

Need that new chapter

WriteMeNot

So the tournament arc is finally getting concluded. That was so long, I don't remember the main characters or the main plot lines anymore; and frankly, I don't think I care about it anymore. We have had world shattering battles, friend vs corrupted friend, time loops, isekai and tower climbing, and the whole Sasuke-Naruto showdown. All of it for an outer sect tournament. What more is there in the story and what even is the point? The characters have lived several lifetimes at this point and experienced and learned so much: for what? A small breakthrough to elemental realm? Maybe several levels? It took a major part of the entire written material to get here. At this point I feel like no amount of growth they achieve would be worth it because it was so long and packed with so much experience and there is no meaningful way to convert that to cultivation world power; it will feel too small. At the end they will still be elemental realm, still be bound to the whims of elders. And how do they gain more power without significantly repeating everything they have done hundreds of times already? There is a reason anime filler arcs break immersion, because the protagonists go through so much to achieve nothing at the end, where similar battles in the main arcs give them explosive growth. I feel fatigued. I really hope the story breaks all my misconceptions and go onward in a spectacular way because the writing is just too good. Peace.

John Cena

I feel like the author has been setting up our mc for a big power leap. Like jumping straight to the life realm, possibly civ realm. I really hope so at least. I don't think we have the time to go through elemental and then stellar realm first. And not skipping a few major realms at this point would just be underwhelming. Of course, i have no idea how his friends will keep up, but im okay with them falling behind.

Feindin for readin

MC is accidentally farming Karma like crazy. Plus you know all those elders are going bonkers about a 2nd realm stabilizing tree they can't have.

Joyeus

But it does provide them a perfect blueprint for getting one from Ke Yin, send a clone into their inner world, get him to go all out against an equal opponent, and a tree will sprout. Potential which is more than they can say for the other method of forming/acquiring a realm stabilization tree.

Joyeus

Because unlike the sun energies the elders will recognize THAT energy signature and question how he can assess it at all. The suns are a complete unknown so they don’t know it’s true value without an in depth study, which they were specifically barred from doing.

Osamaru Ta

Moonhaven City sat a few hundred thousand kilometres away from where they stood. Might want to adjust that. Even ONE hundred thousand kilometres is the circumference of the earth.

Grappleshot

I'm going to guess that Ke Yin wins if that's what's left of his presence there.
