It seems the sect master is the type of person that walks on their toes

Phoenixdrop

Ha I always enjoy a cultivation novel where the main character is strong because he retains his humanity even at the pinnacle having him help other cultivators regain their humanity and helping his master with his natural problems from his I feel like I want to say autism because it sounds like he has autism so he can communicate with others better like I almost hope Ke yin realizes his master has autism and uses his knowledge of what helps with that from our world to help him out Edit: oh I’m saying this as a person with autism just so you know just thought it would be interesting to see how a mental disorder might be treated in a cultivation world

Thomas Morris

Not explicitly pointed out but I think is present in the subtext, Yuan's faith in Ke Yin's ability to break through without any real issue is nice to see. It's so close to being a done deal non-issue, all that's needed is to tell him about it to make him aware of the deadline

IronLion

How much is left of the world tree sutra before he needs to figure out how to advance?

This author note at the end could just be turned into a very fun interlude section in a future chapter

tonright

tftc but also i forget where is yggy right now?

Summer Coff

Kynan, can you recommend any of the specific "sapient tree" stories Ke Yin was thinking about, of all the different types? I feel like I don't know enough of them.

Phantom knight who can’t think of a better nicknam

I just realized he’s far more likely to develop a Yggdrasil type tree meaning that when he annexes other inner worlds I see them less merging and more becoming realms within the genesis’s branches

Collateral_ink

Hmmm, "Socially Impaired Deity Attempting Humor" was not on my Bingo card. Fun though!

Rina

So he has the tism and an antisocial personality and blamed it on his cultivation? XD

sean Errington

I like the longer chapters, it feels a little silly sometimes when a single conversation takes multiple chapters

Also, advancing to the Elemental Realm was my second best guess. It didn't (and still doesn't) quite make sense to me that advancing in realm would solve the issue since basically all of his stage advancements have come from advancing his inner world and seed anyway. Seems like it would just cause more of the same problem, or at best not correct the imbalance. My top guess was that he needed to begin Body Cultivation to combat the efforts of the seed to alter his physical form.

Jaden Pearce

I think it’s the qualitative change that often occurs in the big realm jumps, it allows for more room and thus the genesis seed has more figurative room to grow instead of forcing him to became a tree and grow that way

Reborn as a Demonic Tree and Tree of Aeons are the two most popular I’ve seen

Pyro4224

Your the writer, write it like you want it. It's better to have it flow together than as a jigsaw puzzle.

Endgame

Write it the way you want. You are the author. The only thing that bothers me with some author's is that they draw a hard like at a certain word count, instead of just writing. I think it has to do with apps like webnovel because they tell their author's to try not to go past 1000 words. I have read well over 1500 books and until I started reading stories on webnovel, and apps like it, I have never seen such short chapters.

E

I actually like when you do stuff like oh these two chapters flowed better as one chapter so I combined them. It’s pretty cool

Collateral_ink

Yggy is almost like an abandoned plotline at this point. He's had so little screen time. I know the author will work it back in, but the wait is hard.

Rah

Awwww cute

IdolTrust

That makes sense because his inner world formed at the lowest realm. Like with elements and such. So it would seem that with this cultivation his inner world would be one realm higher in progression.

harkange 585

This chapter does flow better as one, they pretty often do actually

TheCommensuratePup

I really don't like the idea of the tree as a possible enemy. This makes it as a sort of sword of damocles where he is always racing against time. Kind of makes it unpleasant
