Quick talk about Lightbox Expo! It was one of the best artistic inspirations I've had in ages, especially since I've been on a motivational decline for quite a while now. Just being around hundreds of people all with sketchbooks, seeing the fashion styles, going to panels I can actually learn from, it was all such positive vibes! The only downside was organization for the con isn't very good; lots of uncoordinated lines and some bizarre panel room choices (why would you put a panel for the making of ARCANE in a room that only fits 160 people?!) Still great experience, bought a ton of art books, and had some time to visit some friends out in the LA area. It really helped me realize what I want to work on going forward. Definitely going again next year!
