Cleaning the slate (Patreon)

I've been debating this to myself for a while, since the start of the year to be exact. Honestly, with the way I do my art, I find it quite difficult to go back to a project that I have paused. Especially with how complex things can get, getting back into the flow of it is quite difficult.

I don't usually lose interest in something I'm working on mind you, but due to my mental health tanking for honestly most of last year due to bad genetics rng, I believe the best course of action now is to just start fresh and clear any projects I had previously been working on. It's also the reason why you've seen me do new stuff where there are older things needing to be worked on that have remained untouched.

It does suck, since the Spectre animation I was doing really was something that I liked, but trying to do work on it after spending so much time away from it is honestly just not fun for me. If I were to continue on and push through, I really do feel that it will also show in the quality of the work. Even without other things weighing me down, I'm already quite bad with my release schedule, and I'm most certainly not the best artist, but the one thing I do hold pride in is my work ethic and the amount of effort put into each piece.

I say this all now at the start of the month so that if anyone was pledged for a specific animation they were waiting for in the past, feel free to dm me, and I'll refund this month for you. There will still be something similar to that spectre animation in the future, but that specific one will not be completed. Likewise with other stuff.

I'm sorry to anyone I may have disappointed. I really am trying to do my best here with things, but unfortunately I tend to overthink and procrastinate on choices as both options usually make me feel guilty. Anyway, this isn't to gain sympathy, you are paying me after all, and I'll try to do better in the future!
