Drift truck is going to be my daily for the next week, so I had to do some improvements!

First up: the “axle leakage blocker” 😂. This is a custom invention I came up with to prevent the gear oil leak from the pinion seal flinging all over the back of the truck. Not sure if you can see it in photos, but the entire bed section of the truck has little drops of gear oil over it. Why not fix the leak? Well because the last time I messed with a solid axle diff I ruined it and it was hell. This took me an hour or so to make and it accomplished the same goal… 😂

The second improvement was a little heater! This is a 180w electric heater I got off Amazon. It’s small, but actually puts off a good amount of heat (200+ degrees). This one is pointed at my legs and I have another one to put in the dash pointing up at the windshield.

Lastly, I moved the water temp sensor for the fan controller up on the engine. Previously it was in the radiator and it wasn’t able to react fast enough. Oh, also I carpeted the interior a little more: carpet on the wheel wells, covering the battery mount, and on the inside of the firewall.
