EDIT: Rectangular it is! I agree the circles look outta place. Thought that might’ve looked cool because all the circles in the cage and whatnot, but no lol.

Continuing work on the Drift Trucks widebody. Right now I’m tackling the rear section of the fender and I’m wondering what type of vents to put there. I made two test pieces: rectangular & circular.

Option 1 is rectangular

Option 2 is circular

Option 3 is neither

What’s your vote? Also, the “metal” part would be painted the same color of the body. The actual gap will have a black mesh over it (it’s actually there on the rectangle vents)

Square for sure but maybe put 3 instead of 2?

Moist Gutter

Rectangular but insert honeycomb or something Eta: didn’t see the expanded metal already in there, but I still think I like the idea of cutting it with the honeycomb (or some shape you like) and forget the expanded

Definitely square, looks way better. Plus the truck is boxy and the circles don't match as well.

Ding Dong Drift

Definitely square, no question

Quenton Wall

I like the rectangles, the circles feel out of place on the exterior with the square body lines

Jacob Holm

Rectangular holes for sure. Looks crazy, almost like a hoonigan car

Trevon Edwards

I like the rectangles, it feels like it’d flow with the body more

Daniel Stonhill

Option 1 the rectangles definitely

Cobra427

I'm late, and the decision's been made, but rectangular looks miles better

Cameron Hendley

Rectangles for sure, just look proper

Paul Easter
