Working on the Tundra a bit this week to get to ready to drive back up to Chicago for Christmas. Got the maf replaced and the accessory belt system replaced (belt, tensioner, idler pulley). Also threw in a set of Auxbeam lights for the fog lights. I’ll have pictures of that tomorrow.

In the meantime I wanted to show you guys the new wheels/tires. I wanted a much beefier setup then the current 20” rims and 35” tires. My original plan was to downsize to a 17” rim and stay with a 35” tire, but after talking to some other Tundra owners I was convinced to upsize to 37” tires. I think it makes a drastic difference in the stance of the truck and it’s worth the worse fuel economy & “power”.

So here it is! I went with WHITE Nomad wheels (white on white is a goated combo) and 37” Atturo XT tires. The XT is a cross terrain so it’s a bit more aggressive than an all terrain but not as aggressive as a mud terrain. Obviously the tires aren’t mounted yet, these are just test fits. I think it’s going to look crazy good.

Time to chop some stuff and make them fit!

Love the wheels, but the tires are a little too much for me. Good news is, this is not my truck so whatever YOU like is what you should do!
