The award was for best music video for History in 2016 so after the band went on hiatus. Liam was the only one who could attend the show so he accepted the award and just wanted to make it for the fans, but of course Simon couldn't let it go, had to put his own shit in and of course thank his "good friend" (read: "person who sucks up to him"). And yeah, Simon jealousy of Louis is evident! He absolutely hates that Louis has managed to make it to where he is, despite everything Simon has thrown at him with radio play etc. Simon made zayn dance.... chased him backstage to tell him to get on stage basically. This was actually on xfactor, a part of the audition/boot camp process which annoyingly they only did for this particular year. Poor boys 🥹 And yeah .... FUCK SIMON!
