Tom please never stop with the 1000 year vampire games. I love how wildly different everyone’s character ends up being. So excited to hear Ben’s go at it. Love you and love Mystery Quest

This was my favorite of the 1000 year vampires--and they have all been wonderful! But, I mean, the Benperor...

One of the things I have done when playing TYOV is making the dice roll also the amount of years that have passed. When you have something instantaniously happen (such as hitting entry 4 on the first roll), you still have some sort of impact on the story by saying three years have passed and something forced you to move. If I ever get negative rolls, I just say that it happened in the same year to make sure I don't have to do any weird calendar hopping. It also gives something a bit more grounded in character terms and really makes those 100+ year leaps hit with more impact. Love the dual experience here with the two of you bouncing it off each other! One of my favorite sessions and will instantly jump in whenever I see it listed!

These games are such a nice pallet cleanser between feasts of MQ sagas. They work beautifully, and are really insightful to the ingenuity of different guests.
