Dagger Doo (Patreon)

This picture is dedicated to the furry artist Borni , one of the first artists I came across when I stumbled upon the community all the way back in 2005. The character belongs to him, "Dagger Doo" was envisioned as a gruff private eye counterpart of Scooby Doo. The tattoo on his shoulder & the name on his collar tag are actually lifted off the original picture of him, by Borni. I wanted to incorporate a part of Borni's original design to pay him tribute that way.

Borni's art has had a huge influence on me. His style would go on to inspire me and his characters and ideas stuck with me for a long time. Sadly, he seems no longer active for a long while now, but I still hope that he might check in here every now and then and sees this!
