Omg this episode 😵‍💫 Maybe because we had a week's break, but Yoshiki's eyes just being completely flat/dark this episode was kinda freaking me out - I've been leaning into some kind of "Hikaru becoming more human and Yoshiki becoming more monstrous" theory since E7 and this is just making me hmmmm As for what Yoshiki's thinking, I read him more as being selfish with his emotions. Like, he wants to protect the village, and he doesn't want "Hikaru" to hurt people, but when "Hikaru" suggests a solution, Yoshiki immediately discards it because, selfishly, he wants "Hikaru" to stay. And I wonder if this is gonna be a big conflict later on. Ahh I need the next episode now!
