And here we have perhaps the best episode of series, definitely no worse than top 5.

Believe it or not, even with all the foreshadowing done leading up to it I still was not entirely sure about the big betrayal happening but the further and further I got into this episode I knew it had to happen simply because it would be funny and because I thought the alternative was worse.

Now, having Joe betray Donald opened another can of worms I didn't know how to handle namely: How would Donald get back for Virmire, but I'll address that more when Mass Effect 2 starts going up.

As for that alternative I mentioned: Joe's suggestion that he might kill Wrex wasn't totally a joke, at least not to me it wasn't. At a point I was wondering if I should misdirect the audience by implying Joe would kill Ashley but turn and have him shoot Wrex down instead since Donald likes Wrex. This would've allowed Joe to get back for the Liara romance without betraying the original agreement.

Why didn't this happen? Ultimately it was because I didn't want it to. As interesting as it might've been to see Wreav I think we all would've found the whole thing much less satisfactory if Wrex died. Killing Gianna for content is one thing, a squadmate is another.

I think I mentioned this before, but yeah, the Mako flipping on the way to the Salarian Base was actually an accident.

The Big B

Literally the greatest episode of all time. I feel like any revenge on Donald's part was doomed to fail at getting even because how can you possibly top this, consequence-wise? For better or worse (worse), ME2 and 3 but down big time on the RPG elements, and anything with consequences on the level of leaving one of your squad to die would be hard to justify in character for Donald as payback towards Joe specifically. Seriously tho, this is an all time episode. You should be proud of this one.

It’s the elevator music playing after Donald attacks Joe that cracks me up every time I watch it

Cookies Aplenty

This episode is definitely one of the best in the Series. Easy top 3. Also, Fun Fact: You can still use the Intimidate dialogue option on Weed even if you got his family armor. If you are trying to avoid getting any paragon points, for whatever reason.
