And here ends Mass Effect 1.

Cutting straight to it here, I was caught completely off guard by the Geth Armature's Siege Cannon at the start of Ilos, which presented an issue as didn't want Donald and Joe to tie at the end of ME1 as Joe deserved to lose after the events of Virmire. So, episode 10 of 1 is probably the best example of me actually trying my best. Which is slightly out of character for Donald, as he would play more recklessly.

I don't know if anyone ever pointed this out, but surely some of you noticed. The game audio in both the original uploads of episode 10 and the supercut of 1 is off by a few seconds starting toward the end of the Vigil Conversation, specifically around 32:00.

I don't know how it ended up happening but it's been a thorn in my side for over a year, it was probably caused by sloppier editing habits I had. I didn't notice it myself until the Premiere of the Supercut. I am glad most of you seem to consume the videos as if they're podcasts.

Anyway, this audio as been sync'd in this patreon post, I do think this caused the President dialogue to happen slightly early but I'd rather that then the whole game be off.

Also I violently sneezed at 38:58 and version of me that was writing/editing this episode couldn't let the me who recorded it get away with that.

The Big B

Man, Ilos and Battle of the Citadel really are THAT mission. Stealing the Normandy, talking to Vigil, taking the Mako through the Conduit, crashing onto the ruined presidium and the reveal of the mass relay "sculpture," fighting up the side of the Citadel Tower as Sovereign lays waste above, the final battle in the Council Chambers, the arrival of the Fifth Fleet-- back to back to back to back payoff and it rules, especially since explosive ammo shotgun Shepard is so busted that most of the time you don't even need to use your powers, even on Insanity. What an amazing finale.

The cutscene of Sovereign taking over Saren's body is why I never minded Shepard being brought back to life by Cerberus. Because Saren was definitely dead before it happened, but was clearly alive for the first few seconds. He was doubled over and growling in pain. TIM definitely could have gotten some schematics for those implants and based Project Lazarus off of a modified version of them.

Definitely my favorite ending of the series. You can't match the scale here.

Was originally questioning the need to re-upload these videos, but after dealing with the crazy amount of ads on YouTube, I'm really glad you have. ❤
