We read from a book of self-described "red pill" poetry with Andrew, Branson and Charles from the Episode One Podcast and then put together a little homage to the genre in the form of a red pilled poetry night featuring accomplished poets Jerome Durepois, Joseph Rogan No Relation, and Thomas Kinkade Jr., as well as aspiring poet Hotdog Taylor.

I hated how much I liked these poems.

I haven’t laughed this hard in months. The cum towel, hovering over toilets, & shitty douche bag poetry brought back so many fond memories & blackouts from my 20’s & 30’s. I can’t wait for the next poetry slam boys.

Brian Sheppard

This makes Volgon poetry look like "Where The Sidewalk Ends."

this is called doggerel, he has no sense of pacing or meter, and is focusing entirely on trying to get fancy lines. Professional (or, otherwise, more serious) poets mock this sort of poetry because people who write it are always so confident. I tossed a couple lines in and it feels like he is almost trying to do pentameter but doesn't understand what meter actually means, and probably never tried to understand the mechanics behind poetry (and what makes someone like Shakespeare so genius, that he was able to stay within meter, rhyme, AND iambics, while someone like Poe did his own methods [in trochaic] and had meaningfully split phrases. Such as, it is very unusual to have an odd number of syllables in a line and it usually needs to indicate something important or meaningful to a line (Quoth the raven, "Nevermore", easy examples). That is my poetry rant, thank u

I may be answering this a bit late, but I was under the impression his use of sodomy is a bit like some legal definitions of it, like follows: "the crime of oral or anal sexual contact or penetration between persons or of sexual intercourse between a person and an animal."

This is the episode that made me join the patreon. I laughed me ASS OFF. Guys, GOLD level work here, just fantastic. I’ll listen to the team dramatically read and recite ANY far right BS creative writing.
